Sun Jianjun didn't keep them waiting long; he arrived in his car in about twenty minutes.
You could tell from his complexion that he hadn't slept a wink last night; his eyes were practically as beautiful as a national treasure's.
"Brother Chu, what's going on? That guy on the phone just now didn't explain clearly, like they arrested someone else."
Sun Jianjun walked to the main gate, showed his work ID, and went straight into the duty room, followed by two of his subordinates.
The cadre who had been standing outside the duty room turned around and went inside the gate after seeing Sun Jianjun's work ID. He didn't want to deal with these people unless it was something important.
Seeing Sun Jianjun come in, Li Chu gestured towards the corner of the wall with his lip.
"Holy crap, who did this?" The man's appearance startled Sun Jianjun and his men.
"I hit him a bit too hard, he hasn't woken up for a while, I'll wake him up now."
"Slow down, slow down," Sun Jianjun hurriedly stopped him.
"Tell me what happened first. What's the situation with this person?"
Li Chu then recounted what had just happened to him.
"You mean you came out from inside and felt someone watching you, then you went over and found him, and knocked him unconscious with one punch?" Sun Jianjun felt his intelligence had been insulted. If it were that simple, what would be the point of having people like them?

Sun Jianjun looked Li Chu up and down, then walked up to him and whispered, "Brother, what's going on? Do you have some personal grudge? This is right at the entrance to the central government, we can't do anything reckless. If you explain it to me clearly, I'll know what to do next."
These words made Li Chu smile wryly; it seemed they still didn't believe him.
"I don't have time to mess with you, this is the person who's been watching me."
Looking at his confident expression, Sun Jianjun was a little confused. He looked back at the person who was still unconscious in the corner, and then at Li Chu.

What happened to those two last night?
"I'm not done yet. I was working on a grueling job when a phone call dragged me here. I'll keep working on it when I get back. I'll come find you when I'm done. We still have people staking out the area tonight."
After saying that, he waved to his two subordinates, signaling them to take the man away.
After he finished, he followed him out.
He turned back at the door and said, "Brother Chu, even the best kung fu is no match for a gun. You still need to be careful."
"Don't worry, I'm terrified of dying."
Sun Jianjun nodded to Zhang Jianshe again, then turned and left.
"Alright, Jianshe, you can go back now. If the commander asks again, just explain it to him."
"Uncle Luggage, I'll head back now."
After greeting the sentry, Li Chu tossed the pack of cigarettes and matches he had just bought to the two guards who had helped him restrain the man. With the bulletproof vest tucked under his arm, he swayed and walked towards the parking lot.
In the car in the parking lot, Tian Jun was catching up on sleep. He had barely slept at all last night, and after the leader went in, he took the opportunity to rest, thus missing a major performance.
After returning to the hospital, Li Chu first went to his wife's office.
"What are you doing with that vest you're holding?" Ding Qiunan asked as she saw her husband come in, emerging from behind her desk.

Ding Qiunan did not take the vest, but looked blankly at her man, not understanding what he meant by "saving lives".

"Bulletproof?" Hearing this, she became a little interested; she had never seen one before.
