Ding Qiunan felt a little embarrassed by her husband's stare, and was about to say something when Li Chu silenced her with a kiss.

“I’m off today, and I have nothing to do at home, so your dad and I came over for a visit.”
As they were talking, the two elders walked into the living room and saw the children sitting on the floor, frantically putting on their shoes. They each picked one up.
"Hey, where's Nannan?" Ding's mother asked, turning around when she didn't see her daughter.
"Mom, Dad, please have a seat. Qiu Nan has been staying at the hospital with me these past few days and just got back. She's going to take a shower."
"Keeping someone company at the hospital? Who's in trouble?" Upon hearing this, Ding's parents' eyes immediately turned to them.
"Oh, it's nothing. It's just that Uncle Wang's daughter-in-law is giving birth. She's not feeling well and needs to stay in the hospital for a few days. My aunt Wang and her mother are getting old and can't stay up late at night. Qiu Nan has been taking care of her these past few days. She should be discharged in the next day or the day after."

He was still worried until that matter was completely resolved, and now that his mother-in-law wanted to take the child back, he couldn’t be happier. At least he wouldn’t have to worry about the child anymore.
Ding Qiunan thought about it and agreed. She was willing to stay with her husband and face the potential dangers together. The child was still young, and she felt more at ease knowing that the child had been taken away by the maternal grandparents.
Seeing that their daughter and son-in-law agreed so readily, Mr. and Mrs. Ding were very happy. They had been worried that the young couple would be reluctant to part with their child.
When Xiao Wenhui and Xiao Wenxuan heard that their parents had agreed, they clapped their hands happily in their grandparents' arms.
Li Chu's two children are very easy to take care of. Whether they are sleeping at Aunt Wang's house for the past two nights or going with their maternal grandmother for a while, they don't make a fuss.
Unlike some children who are fine during the day but cry and fuss when they can't see their parents at night, this child is different.
After her husband helped her dry her hair, Ding Qiunan called her sister's family and invited them to come over so they could have a meal together.
