Zhang Meng was so scared that her face turned pale and her legs were shaking. It was obviously a very cute child's voice, but the words that came out of it made people's hair stand on end.
"Get out of here." Gu Mingtai took out a talisman he had prepared in advance and threw it at it with disgust.
The ghost saw the flying talisman and took two steps back. Zhang Meng held her breath as she watched the talisman being thrown at her. She had expected the talisman to break the ghost's skin, but she hadn't expected the ghost to actually grab the talisman with one hand and tear it into pieces all over the floor.
Gu Mingtai's face darkened. He didn't expect that this little kid actually had this trick.
Looking at the broken talisman paper on the ground, Zhang Meng felt heartbroken. This piece of talisman paper was worth a hundred dollars, but it was torn to pieces by this little ghost with just a simple tear.
"Hehe, I'm not afraid of this talisman paper anymore. You all will die here today. And her, I want to eat her. She smells so good. After eating her, I can walk out of that dark place." When the little ghost talked about this exciting thing, his laughter became even more sad.
Gu Mingtai frowned and immediately took out the Buddhist beads he was carrying and threw them over. When the little ghost saw the beads, he covered his face and stepped back repeatedly.
Director Xiao, who was hiding in the corner, saw that the little ghost was afraid of the Buddhist beads. He rolled his eyes a few times, ran out from the corner, and snatched the Buddhist beads from Gu Mingtai's hand.
"You..." Zhang Meng pointed at him angrily.
"Anyway, you two are masters and must have the ability to protect yourselves. Just give me this string of Buddhist beads. I don't know anything, so let this string of Buddhist beads protect me." Director Xiao held the string of Buddhist beads tightly and refused to let go.
When the little ghost saw that the Buddhist beads that frightened him were gone, he immediately regained his smug look.
A sinister and terrifying sneer appeared on his face. "I'm not going to play with you anymore. It's not fun at all. I'm going to kill you!"
The little ghost laughed horribly and rushed towards Gu Mingtai first.
Without the Buddhist beads as a weapon, Gu Mingtai was forced to retreat several steps by the little ghost and found it a bit difficult to deal with him.
Zhang Meng was extremely anxious. When he looked down, he suddenly saw the blank talisman paper in his hand, and a life-saving idea flashed through his mind.
"Huang Qingtian, stop hiding in there and come out." As soon as the words fell, Zhang Meng dragged out Huang Qingtian, who had been hiding in the backpack.
Huang Qingtian, who was pretending to be dead, had no choice but to open his weasel eyes and said, "Go ahead and beat me, why did you call me out? I still want to sleep."
Zhang Meng's mouth twitched when she heard this. They were fighting the little devil to the death outside, and this guy was actually sleeping in her backpack.
"Sleep you big head ghost, now the time is urgent, and you still have the mood to sleep, go and help Gu Mingtai quickly, I'm drawing something and will be back soon." After saying that, Zhang Meng picked it up and threw it towards Gu Mingtai without any hesitation.
Seeing that Huang Qingtian was helping Gu Mingtai, she thought he would be fine for the time being. She quickly put her middle finger into her mouth and bit it hard. Then she drew a symbol on the blank talisman paper with her bloody middle finger. Then she drew the second and third symbol. She kept drawing until all the blood on her hand was gone. Only then did Zhang Meng stop.
"Gu Mingtai, Huang Qingtian, please get out of the way."
As soon as he finished shouting, Zhang Meng threw out two pieces of talisman paper drawn with his own blood. The two talismans papers spun above the little ghost's head, forming a Bagua formation that pressed down on him.
The little ghost immediately showed a painful expression on his face, and black stuff came out of his mouth. He kept screaming, "Sister, don't kill me, I'm still a child, how can you be so cruel?"
Having been fooled once, Zhang Meng would not be fooled by him again. She hardened her heart and silently chanted a spell, and finally said loudly, "Edict."
With a light "pop" sound, a white light floated out from Old Man Xiao's body and quickly disappeared in mid-air.
The room returned to its original state.
Director Xiao, who was hiding in the corner, immediately ran out and helped Old Man Xiao, who was lying on the ground, up, and shouted worriedly, "Dad, Dad, are you okay? Don't scare me."
After calling him several times but he still couldn't wake up, Director Xiao looked towards Gu Mingtai worriedly, "Comrade Gu, please look at me, what happened to my dad? Could he have been killed by the little ghost?"
Zhang Meng grabbed Gu Mingtai who was about to go over and stopped him from passing.
He rolled his eyes at Director Xiao, who was worried about Old Man Xiao. When he thought about how this ungrateful man had snatched the Buddhist beads from Gu Mingtai's hand for his own life not long ago and almost harmed all of them, he immediately disliked him.
"It's okay, I'll go over and take a look." After coaxing Zhang Meng, Gu Mingtai walked over to check on the unconscious Mr. Xiao.
After a while, he looked at Director Xiao calmly and said, "Don't worry, Master Xiao is fine. It's just that because he was possessed by the evil spirit for a long time, his body must have suffered. Now he is weak. As long as he rests for a while, his body will naturally get better slowly."
