Chapter 132: Haunted Cafeteria (8,000)

After a while, countless hungry ghost heads flew towards her, and it looked like they wanted to eat her.

Zhang Meng took two steps back in panic. Damn it, those hungry ghosts continued to chase her.

At this time, Zhang Meng felt a little regretful that she had underestimated the enemy. After all, she had only heard of this hungry ghost but had never encountered one. This lack of experience was her current weakness.

Zhang Meng retreated so quickly that she didn't notice the chair behind her. She bumped into it, lost her balance, and sat down on the ground.

There was a hungry ghost's head in front of her and a chair blocking her way behind her. Zhang Meng cursed in her heart, damn it, is her life going to end at the hands of this hungry ghost?

Suddenly, a chill spread from the neck to the hand. Zhang Meng looked down and found that there was suddenly something extra in his hand. He reached out and touched his neck. There was only the rope hanging the jade pendant, but no damn little white snake.

The little white snake jumped onto the ground with its tongue sticking out. After a while, its small body slowly grew bigger.

Zhang Meng remembered the last time it grew bigger. If it grew this big again, it would definitely alarm everyone here.

"Xiaobai, don't grow so big." She didn't know if it could understand what she said, but in a hurry, she could only do this.

The white snake, which was growing bigger, suddenly turned its head and looked at her.

The next moment, Zhang Meng saw that its body had grown to the size of a bucket and then stopped changing.

She remembered that the last time it changed, five or six people couldn't hold its body. Now this body is nothing compared to the last one.

Seeing this, Zhang Meng was happy. It seemed that this little white snake could understand what she said.

At this time, Xiaobai, who had grown bigger, opened his snake mouth wide, and pulled out his tongue like a frog eating food, sucking back a hungry ghost head into his stomach.

After a while, Xiaobai had eaten half of the hungry ghost's head.

Zhang Meng covered her mouth and looked at Xiaobai in surprise as he was still fighting the hungry ghost head in the air. What was the origin of this snake? How could it even eat ghosts?

By the time Zhang Meng came to her senses, Xiaobai had just eaten the last escaping ghost head.

After eating the head, the little white snake fell to the ground from the air and slowly crawled towards Zhang Meng.

"Wait a minute." Thinking about how it had just eaten so many heads, and now seeing its mouth, she got goosebumps all over her body.

When Xiaobai heard this, he immediately stopped swinging his snake body and looked at Zhang Meng with his green bean-like eyes.

That little appearance was so cute that even Zhang Meng was attracted by it. For a moment, she forgot that it was a big snake that could grow big or small.

Being stared at by its green bean eyes, Zhang Meng's heart softened a little. She coughed lightly and said in a much better tone, "You have eaten so many hungry ghost heads, are you feeling uncomfortable?"

The little white snake spit out its tongue, moved its head a few times, and then its body became smaller and smaller. It was so small that it flew directly to her neck and turned back into a motionless necklace that coiled around her neck.

Seeing that the cafeteria had finally warmed up, Zhang Meng pulled out Han Yisheng who was hiding under the table.

"Okay, Hungry Ghost has already taken care of it for you. Let me borrow your kitchen for a while. Also, if you have any other nourishing foods in your kitchen, please sell them to me and I'll pay you."

Han Yisheng came out from under the table and looked around. Seeing that the cafeteria was really different from before, he immediately let out a sigh of relief and turned around with a grin. "No need to pay. You helped me, and I haven't paid you yet. I just happened to have a freshly killed old hen and a rack of pork ribs in the kitchen. If you want, you can take them all."

Zhang Meng didn't bother to be polite with him and directly asked for his old hen and three racks of pork ribs.

An hour later, I returned to the hospital with stewed old hen soup and fried pork ribs.

"Hey, why are you up? Go sit back on the bed." As soon as I came in, I saw that the man who was supposed to be lying on the bed had already gotten out of bed, put on his coat and was ready to go out.

Seeing his wife coming over to support him, the anxious expression on his face gradually faded a little.

"Where have you been? I thought you were lost outside and was about to go look for you." Gu Mingtai held her hand until he felt her warmth on his palm, and his heart, which had been hanging in the air, finally relaxed.

"You underestimate me. How could I get lost? I'm going to get you something to eat. Didn't the doctor just say that he wanted to nourish your body? I made some chicken soup for you." After saying that, he opened the lid of the chicken soup.

As soon as Gu Mingtai smelled it, he immediately knew that the soup was made by her.

"Where did you do it?" They didn't know anyone in this place.

Zhang Meng smiled proudly, "I made it at the hospital cafeteria. I did them a small favor. From now on, I can go there and make delicious food for you every day."

Gu Mingtai looked at the smug smile on her face and couldn't help but smile too. Every time he saw her happy, he would feel happy too.

"I don't think it's a small favor. Are you helping someone catch ghosts again?" Zhang Meng, who was full of chicken soup, immediately looked up at him, "How did you know?"

He coughed lightly, suppressing the smile on his face as he said, "Besides this, I really can't think of anything else you can do to help me."

Zhang Meng pouted immediately and said unhappily, "Don't look down on me. I still have many abilities, okay? You'll slowly learn about them in the future."

Gu Mingtai looked at her pouting little mouth, and his lower abdomen immediately felt uncomfortable. He said in a calm voice, "Did the doctor say when we can be discharged?"
