Chapter 136 Shameless

"You can't scare me anymore. You thought I was as scared of you as before, but you're wrong. During the time you were away, I've been through a lot and seen many different kinds of ghosts. I'm no longer afraid of them, so don't even think about scaring me."

Zhang Yu sighed upon seeing this, and said regretfully, "Really? That's such a pity that I didn't scare you."

The man and the ghost chatted for a long time at the entrance of the cave, until it was almost evening, when they separated.

Zhang Meng kept the news that Zhang Yu told her until bedtime at night before she told Gu Mingtai about it.

After only a few words, she realized that the man next to her had known about this for a long time.

"You knew about this a long time ago, why didn't you tell me!" Zhang Meng was a little angry. This man actually dared to hide something from her.

Zhang Meng turned her face away, planning to ignore this man who dared to hide things from her.

Gu Mingtai touched his nose feeling a little guilty. In fact, ever since he knew about this, he had been struggling over whether or not to tell her this information. But before he could think it through, she already knew it.

She ignored him, so Gu Mingtai shamelessly approached her and kissed her cheek. "Don't be angry. It was my fault this time. I'll change it next time."

After a while, her whole face was covered with saliva and sticky from his kisses.

"Get out of the way, just talk. Why do you keep kissing me on the face? You've got your saliva all over my face." She wiped it randomly, and her palm was covered with his saliva.

"Then if you talk to me, I won't kiss you."

Zhang Meng was so angry that she gritted her teeth and glared at him. This time she realized that this fake monk actually had such a shameless side.

She had really been deceived by his hypocritical attitude before.

Gu Mingtai was not afraid of her glare and looked at her with a grin.

After a fight, Zhang Meng finally surrendered.

"Okay, I'll talk to you, okay? Hurry up and tell me everything you know about this matter. Don't hide anything. Otherwise, you will have to sleep outside tonight."

Gu Mingtai's face lit up with joy, and he immediately raised his hand and swore, "I will listen to you, not hide anything, and I will tell you everything."

Zhang Meng found a comfortable place to sit down.

Gu Mingtai followed up and planned to sit next to her.

As a result, as soon as his butt touched the seat, he was pushed away by the hot wife next to him.

"You are not allowed to sit down. Stand up and talk." Zhang Meng rolled her eyes at him.

Gu Mingtai smiled helplessly, stood still, and quickly began to speak, "I also heard Master mention it on the day I came back. Master said that your blood is the blood of Nuwa's descendants. Your blood is good for demons, ghosts, and cultivators. He told me to be careful."

After hearing this, Zhang Meng waited for a while and found that he stopped moving his mouth and just stared at her.

"That's all?" These were all similar to what Zhang Yu had told her, and she wanted to hear something different.

Seeing that she still hadn't heard enough, Gu Mingtai smiled bitterly and shook his head, "That's all. That's all my Master told me."

Zhang Meng held her chin in her hand, not knowing what to think. Gu Mingtai quickly and secretly sat down next to her.

"Don't worry, now that we know the danger of this blood, we should try to use it less in the future." Gu Mingtai held her hand and comforted her.

Zhang Meng looked up in frustration, "Gu Mingtai, how can you say my blood is the blood of Nuwa's descendants?"

Unfortunately, the blood turned into flesh that looked like Tang Monk. She was really worried that her blood would bring disaster to her family.

"I don't understand this yet, but we just need to be more careful next time and avoid using the blood talisman if possible."

Zhang Meng nodded vigorously. "That's for sure. I used to draw talismans with blood but I didn't know the harmful effects of my blood. Now that I know, I'll never use blood again, even if you kill me."

After the couple finished talking, it was already late at night.

Gu Mingtai looked at his wife making the quilt and couldn't hold it in any longer. He called out hoarsely to her back, "Wife."

As soon as he finished speaking, he hugged her from behind.

Zhang Meng, who was completely unprepared, was startled by his action and couldn't control her voice and screamed, "Ah."

After she finished shouting, she realized that there were two elderly people in the family sleeping on both sides of the room. She was so embarrassed that she quickly covered her mouth and turned around to glare at the culprit who made her embarrassed.

"You want to die, don't you know that your master and my grandmother live next door? If they hear you, I wonder how you'll face them in the future."

Zhang Meng hit his arm hard and rolled her eyes at him.

Gu Mingtai also looked frightened. He listened quietly for a while and made sure that he did not wake up the two elderly people next door. Only then did he breathe a sigh of relief.

After making sure it was safe, he immediately walked over to Zhang Meng again, this time hugging her waist while saying, "I forgot about those two old people just now. Let's be quiet this time, okay?"

After saying that, he blew a breath into her ear.

Zhang Meng felt as if her whole body was melting. Before she could react, he had already picked her up and thrown her onto the bed.

Soon, the wooden boards began to creak. Half an hour later, both of them lay breathless on the bed, staring at the ceiling.

"As for this broken bed, let's go to the scrap collection station in the county someday and ask Lao Zhang to keep an eye out for us to see if there is a sturdy bed. We can get one back so that we won't keep quarreling while we're doing it." Gu Mingtai stared at their bed with hatred, his face full of resentment of not having enough to eat.
