Gu Mingtai carefully put it on her. Seeing her staring at him in confusion, he explained, "I found this in Master's room. It's also Master's most precious possession. The whole bureau was pitch black. At this moment, a ray of light spread from beside him.
Gu Mingtai held a flashlight in his hand, which immediately illuminated the dark and eerie Public Security Bureau.
"You actually brought a flashlight! Why didn't I think of that?" Zhang Meng said softly.
Wang Qingliu stepped forward and huddled close to them, his teeth chattering. "Gentlemen, can we talk about this outside? It's so cold here. Usually, I only wear a long-sleeved shirt, but now, even with a coat on, I still feel cold, and it's getting colder."
Gu Mingtai glanced at him and said, "This place is full of ghosts. It's no longer the Public Security Bureau you used to know. Be careful and don't let the ghosts fool you."
Wang Qingliu was about to ask further questions when a voice suddenly came from under the table where they were standing, "Captain Wang, is that you?"
Gu Mingtai and Zhang Meng drew their magical weapons with a defensive look on their faces and stared at the bottom of the table.
Wang Qingliu bravely squatted down and suddenly exclaimed, "Old Wang, why are you squatting there? Where are the others?"
Lao Wang was a middle-aged man with half a bald head. He crawled out from under the table and looked around in confusion. "I don't know. I just sat here for a while, and when I woke up, it was dark all around. I wanted to go out, but the door was broken. I tried to pull it open but it wouldn't open. I'm also a little afraid of the dark, so I hid here."
Suddenly, a rustling sound was heard, and then the song of White-Haired Girl began to float in the room.
"Where does this song come from? Why do I feel so creepy when I listen to it?" Zhang Meng felt a chill all over his body.
"There is no electricity in our bureau, why is the radio on?"
