Chapter 191: The Yin-Yang Bureau Again

"Okay, let's go!" Looking at the changes on the compass, Mr. Liao shouted to everyone with a satisfied look on his face.

Everyone looked at Zhang Meng with inquiring eyes, probably wondering what kind of weirdo she was! Everyone followed behind Mr. Liao, who was at the front.

At first, Zhang Meng didn't notice anything strange about these wooden steps. It was not until she was halfway there that she looked back and realized that although they had walked for a long time, there were only a dozen or so wooden steps under their feet.

"Now you know why I want to use your blood!" Before she could come to her senses, Monk Jingchen suddenly said this in her ear.

Zhang Meng quickly turned her head to look at him and shouted in surprise, "Master Jingchen!"

Monk Jingchen glared at Gu Mingtai, who was also looking at him, snorted coldly, and continued, "Legend has it that the stairs leading to Nuwa's Cave Mansion never get very far. Unfortunately, they don't know that the stairs require the blood of Nuwa's descendants to guide them into the cave."

Zhang Meng looked at him with longing eyes as he looked ahead, and was always curious about why he was so curious about this place, even to the point of being curious to the point of risking his life.

"Master Jingchen, can I ask you a question?" Zhang Meng asked in a low voice.

Monk Jingchen retracted his gaze and glanced at the young couple, "Ask!"

"Master Jingchen, why are you so eager to come here!" After asking, Zhang Meng smiled at him a little embarrassedly.

"For a dream!"

"dream!"

Zhang Meng had just said these two words when someone in front of her suddenly shouted, "What a huge snake body!"

The three of them quickly stopped talking and quickly squeezed towards those people.

Outside the main hall there are two stone statues with human faces and snake bodies.

Under the illumination of the fire in everyone's hands, a stone statue with a snake body and a woman's face was reflected.

"Could this be the goddess Nuwa?" someone asked uncertainly.

Monk Jingchen excitedly walked forward, touched the stone statue, and laughed incoherently, "Haha, I finally found it! This is it, this is it, there's no mistake!"

Zhang Meng walked forward and just touched the stone statue, when he was suddenly stunned by a symbol next to the statue.

"Look at this!" Zhang Meng shouted to Monk Jingchen and others.

Gu Mingtai was the first to step forward, followed by Monk Jingchen and Old Man Liao.

"This is..." Old Master Liao narrowed his eyes and stared at the symbol on the ground.

"I've seen this symbol before. It's from the Onmyoji Bureau in Country R."

Ever since her last trip to Country R, Zhang Meng has been studying the things of the Onmyoji Bureau of Country R, and she happened to have studied this symbol.

"What, R country? Could it be that people from R country came here before us?" When Monk Jingchen heard that someone had been here before them, his face was filled with anger.

"Don't they say you can't come here without Comrade Zhang Meng's blood? Then how did the R people get here?"

Someone raised this question that is on many people’s minds.

Old Master Liao and Monk Jingchen looked at each other. It was a rare occasion that they didn't quarrel.

"That's exactly what the legend says!" said Mr. Liao with a frown.

"Could it be that they found some way to get here?" Liao Qingting made a bold hypothesis.

Monk Jingchen immediately shook his head, "Impossible, there is no other way, unless they have the blood of Nuwa's descendants!"

As soon as he finished speaking, many people looked towards Zhang Meng.

"Why are you looking at me like that? I am Chinese. Even if I die, I will never help Country R, okay?" Zhang Meng looked at them angrily to show their loyalty.

"I believe my wife. She would not do that kind of thing." Gu Mingtai glanced unhappily at those who looked at Zhang Meng with suspicion.

"I also believe in Comrade Zhang Meng. Others might sell out their country, but she won't. Last time in Country R, she tried her best to save us, so I believe in her."

Zhang Meng, who was lost in thought, suddenly had an idea when she heard Sheng Liyuan's words. She quickly grasped it and said, "The last time I went to Country R, I was injured and stayed in the hospital there for a few days."

"It must be that. It must be those shameless people from Country R who stole Comrade Zhang Meng's blood. Damn it. I was wondering why Country R was so kind to let Comrade Zhang Meng stay there for a few more days. It turns out they had this in mind. Why didn't we think of it? It's so damn bad. This time they actually found us before us!" Sheng Liyuan clapped his hands vigorously and cursed the people from Country R.

Both Mr. Liao and Monk Jingchen had gloomy faces.

"Don't be too discouraged. Even if they come here first, they may not find what they want. After all, the things in here belong to our China. If a group of foreigners want to take them away, it depends on whether they have the ability to do so first." Monk Jingchen smiled coldly as he looked at the closed hall.

Just as everyone was about to go in, a white figure jumped down from the top of the hall and landed directly on Zhang Meng's head, then slowly slid around her neck and wrapped around her.

"Xiaobai." Feeling the coldness on his neck, Zhang Meng looked down at it in surprise.

Xiaobai stuck out his tongue, wrapped it around her neck, and quickly slid down to the ground, making a hissing sound from his mouth.

"This little beast must have gone in and washed in the holy water!" Old Master Liao looked at Xiaobai crawling on the ground with a smile.

As soon as he finished speaking, Xiaobai, who heard him scolding the snake, immediately turned its head and hissed at him fiercely.
