Chapter 267: Ghost Wedding

After a while, footsteps were heard leaving outside.

Zhang Yu pouted and looked at Zhang Meng with a playful smile, "Little Mengmeng, that's enough. You know that I, a ghost, still have no man. Don't show affection in front of me, or I will bite you to death."

After saying that, Zhang Yu deliberately showed his bloody mouth.

Zhang Meng deliberately put on a frightened expression, patted her heart and said, "I'm scared to death! Humph! No way."

Zhang Yu was so angry that he somersaulted in mid-air. At this moment, the gurgling sound was heard again. Zhang Meng turned around and said to the door, "Gu Mingtai, do you have anything else to say?"

After she asked this question, she realized that the sound just now was a bit strange, because at first the sound sounded like knocking on the door, but after listening to it, she immediately realized that the sound was not the same as knocking on the door.

"Xiao Mengmeng, be careful, that male ghost is really coming this time."

Zhang Yu immediately floated in the air, looking around vigilantly.

Zhang Meng also subconsciously grabbed the backpack on her back with one hand.

At this time, the sound of suona suddenly floated in the room, and the sound drifted from far away. After a while, five ghosts suddenly emerged slowly from under the floor of the room. Four paper ghosts were carrying a sedan chair, and a matchmaker with her face painted red was standing next to the sedan chair. The last person to appear was the protagonist of tonight, the groom. He was wearing a red groom's suit and riding a paper horse and slowly emerged from the ground.

As soon as the male ghost saw Tang Yiyi lying on the bed, his eyes lit up and he laughed.

The matchmaker walked to the bedside and reached out to pull Tang Yiyi's hand. As soon as she touched it, the matchmaker suddenly screamed and her whole body suddenly caught fire and immediately burned to a pile of ashes. It turned out that the matchmaker was also a paper figure.

The male ghost and the other paper figures were horrified when they saw this.

The four paper figures immediately abandoned the sedan chair they were carrying and fled in all directions.

The male ghost riding on the paper horse looked around with gnashing teeth, cursing, "Who is it? Who is ruining my good thing? Come out!"

Zhang Meng sneered and walked out of the darkness. "What good thing is this? Is this a forced marriage?"

When the male ghost saw that it was a woman, greed flashed across his face. "Great, another woman! It seems that I can marry two wives tonight and go to the underworld. I didn't expect that I couldn't marry a wife when I was alive, but I can marry two at once after I die. If I had known this, I should have died earlier."

Seeing that he still dared to covet her, Zhang Meng's face darkened and she sneered, "With this horrible appearance of yours, you still want to marry me? Then you have to see if this talisman in my hand agrees."

As soon as he finished speaking, Zhang Meng immediately took out five talismans from his backpack and threw them all over.

The male ghost was startled and jumped off the paper horse in a hurry.

But the four paper figures were not so lucky, they all turned into a pile of ashes.

The male ghost saw that all the paper ghosts he brought with him were gone, and looked at Zhang Meng with a ferocious expression on his face, "You are a witch! You killed my paper figures, you have to compensate me!"

Zhang Meng showed no fear at all. She looked directly at his anger and said coldly, "Alright, not only can I return your paper figurine, I can also return your life to the underworld."

As soon as he finished speaking, Zhang Meng silently recited a few spells, and the talisman paper that the male ghost had avoided suddenly flew over again.

The male ghost was shocked and hurriedly used his hands to block the talisman paper flying towards him.

After a while, a miserable scream echoed in the room.

Tang Yiyi, who was sleeping in bed, was awakened by the miserable scream. When he opened his eyes, he immediately saw a male ghost with a broken hand. He was so scared that his face turned pale. He quickly lay down again and covered himself with the quilt.

Seeing this, Zhang Meng shook her head and smiled, but soon she turned her sharp gaze to the male ghost in front of her who had one hand broken off.

The male ghost hugged his missing arm and cried out in pain, "It hurts, it hurts, witch, please spare me, witch, please spare me, I won't dare to do it again."

Zhang Meng walked up to him with a frosty face and asked, "Do you still want to get married?"

The male ghost's eyes flashed with resentment, but he said, "I don't want to, I don't want to, I won't get married, witch, please forgive me!"

Zhang Meng turned around, and suddenly the male ghost standing behind her showed a ferocious look on his face, raised his other unbroken arm and stabbed it into Zhang Meng's heart.

Zhang Yu was startled and quickly reminded, "Xiao Mengmeng, watch your back."

Zhang Meng curled the corners of her mouth, raised her right hand, and accurately stuck a piece of talisman paper on the arm that was attacking her.

She finished reciting the spell loudly, and with a bang, the male ghost flew onto the wall.

Zhang Meng immediately took out another peach wood sword and was about to stab it when she suddenly felt a pain on her wrist. Then a small insect slid down from her wrist and quickly crawled up the motionless male ghost on the wall.

After a while, a crunching sound came from the other side, like the sound of eating bones.

Soon, the male ghost on the wall disappeared.

The soul-eating insect lying on the ground burped, then with a satisfied look on its face, it slipped back onto Zhang Meng's wrist to continue hibernating.

The room suddenly became quiet again. Zhang Meng turned on the light in the room and immediately saw the trembling lump on the bed.

Zhang Meng smiled, walked to the bed and pulled back the quilt.

"Don't arrest me. I'm not pretty, I'm not good-looking, I haven't gained weight yet, my chest is flat, I'm ugly, please, don't arrest me to get married."

As soon as the quilt was pulled open, Tang Yiyi's pig-slaughtering scream was heard.
