Chapter 305 Grandma Ayi

After entering the yard, the couple immediately discovered something very strange. The fog they had just seen was only floating outside the house, and there was no fog at all in the yard.

"Don't you think it's strange?" Just when the young couple was curious about this phenomenon, the man of the family came to them at some point and asked with a proud tone.

Gu Mingtai raised the corner of his mouth slightly and responded, "It's indeed a bit strange."

The man said proudly, "This is all thanks to a woman named Ayi in our village. She has saved our entire village from being disturbed by the fog."

"Grandma Ayi!" Zhang Meng murmured the name softly.

Unexpectedly, this man's ears were so sharp that he actually heard it.

"Yes, it's Granny Ayi. She is the patron saint of our village."

"It seems that you admire your Grandma Ayi very much. Is she the fortune teller here?"

Gu Mingtai smiled and chatted with others seemingly unintentionally, but in fact he was trying to get them to talk.

"Of course, but Granny Ayi used to be a widow in our village. I don't know what happened, but one day she seemed to know a lot of things that had never happened to us. Later, our village was covered by this white fog. Fortunately, Granny Ayi stepped forward and made the fog stay away from our home here."

After saying this, the man seemed to realize that he had said a lot, so he closed his mouth with a gloomy face, looked at Zhang Meng and the others with a somewhat unhappy expression and asked, "Just now you said you wanted to make food for the children, do you want porridge? I have porridge at home."

Zhang Meng looked at the little zombie, who had two sharp teeth, but considering his age, this porridge was not his cup of tea at all.

Zhang Meng smiled embarrassedly and said, "I'm sorry, my child may not be able to eat this porridge. I wonder if you have goat milk or something like that? We can buy it with money."

The man took one look at the child in her arms. He also had a child at home, and immediately felt a surge of paternal compassion in his heart. So he said, "Well, then, please come in. My wife gave birth to a big fat boy last month. I'll let her breast milk feed your child."

Zhang Meng's face lit up with joy. Human milk is countless times better than goat's milk. "Thank you so much. Don't worry, we will still pay you."

The man nodded, then immediately turned sideways and pointed inside, saying, "Come in first."

Once inside, it was a completely different scene. It was very warm inside.

There was a woman lying on the kang, holding a newborn baby in her arms.

As soon as the man came in, he explained to his wife, "Wife, these two people brought their children here to ask for some food. Your milk has been plentiful recently, can you give some to their children?"

The woman took one look at the little zombie in Zhang Meng's arms and was immediately captivated by its cute appearance. Her originally somewhat unhappy heart softened immediately.

"Okay, bring this child here." The woman said with a smile.

Zhang Meng immediately thanked the woman and was about to hug him when she suddenly remembered the little guy's two fangs. She immediately hugged him back and subconsciously shouted, "No."

The woman who was stretching out her hands to hug was stunned and looked at Zhang Meng in confusion.

Zhang Meng then remembered what she had just done and put on an embarrassed smile. "I'm sorry, I suddenly remembered something very important. My child wants a pacifier. Unfortunately, my health is not good and my milk has run out a long time ago. Otherwise, he wouldn't be so hungry!"

The woman's heart softened immediately. "You recognize the pacifier, right? That's fine. I'll pump out my milk first, and then you can feed it to him."

"Okay, thank you for your help." Zhang Meng said with a smile.

The woman waved her hands and said with understanding, "I understand. I'm a mother too. Seeing my child hungry is like digging out my own heart."

Zhang Meng half lowered her head and nodded slightly.

It’s not that she doesn’t want to lift it up, it’s just that she feels guilty.

In order to get some milk for the little zombie, she told the lie very fluently.

When Gu Mingtai saw that someone was going to milk the cows, he quickly followed the man outside.

The two grown men seemed to be in harmony as they chatted about their common topic of children.

"Hey brother, your child is a few months old. He looks so cute and looks a lot like you. He is prettier than the children in our village. I really envy you city people. Your children are all so good-looking." The man said to himself.

Gu Mingtai, who was standing next to him, had a dark face. God knows how many months old that little zombie was.

Also, does this man have a problem with his eyes? Which eye of his can tell that the little zombie looks like him? They don't look alike at all.

In order to prevent the man with poor eyesight from asking further questions, Gu Mingtai quickly changed the subject. "By the way, I just heard you talk about Grandma Ayi here. I think she seems very powerful. I happen to have a problem here and I would like to ask her for help. Is it possible?"

When the man heard this, he immediately smiled and patted his chest and said, "Of course it's possible. Grandma Ayi has already told us that if anyone comes to ask her for help, just bring them over to her."

After hearing this, Gu Mingtai raised his eyebrows slightly.

Then he asked, "I wonder how much money it costs for Grandma Ayi here to solve problems for others. The thing is, we don't have much money with us this time, and I'm afraid we don't have enough money to pay."

The man smiled again and said with a simple and honest face, "Grandma Aiyi in our village is a good person. She doesn't ask for money when she solves problems for others. All you need to do is burn some incense for her sincerely when the time comes."

"So that's how it is. That's good. I feel relieved now." Gu Mingtai said softly, with interest glimmering in his half-closed eyes.
