Zhang Meng nodded slightly. Mrs. Jin looked at the old woman worriedly, but finally gritted her teeth and turned away from the door.
Just when Zhang Meng's dark wind was dispersed.
Suddenly, the doors and windows inside Jin's house began to shake rapidly.
"Boom, boom, boom" it was like a strong wind blowing in the room.
The old woman's lips trembled, and she shouted towards the house with a frightened look on her face, "Hongying, I know it's you. You are here to seek revenge on me, right? I know I was wrong before. Can you please forgive me and let my family go?"
Just as Old Lady Jin finished her words, a tornado-like hurricane suddenly drifted over from the Jin family's courtyard.
Zhang Meng's face turned pale when he saw this. He immediately protected Old Lady Jin and tightly grasped the peach wood sword in his hand.
"You want me to forgive your family? That's wishful thinking. When you harmed me and my family, why didn't you think of letting us go? Now you want me to let you go? It's impossible." At this moment, a voice full of resentment rang out from the empty room.
Old Lady Jin was so frightened that her legs went limp. But when she thought of her family still waiting for her to save them, she gritted her teeth and continued to speak to the air, "Hongying, I was wrong. If you want revenge, just come to me. Don't hurt my family. They are all innocent. Please."
"They are innocent? Aren't my family members innocent? They died so tragically, and it's all your fault. I want to avenge them, revenge." As the sinister words fell, a red shadow was seen flying towards them.
Zhang Meng, who had been prepared at all times, immediately raised the peach wood sword in his hand and slashed at the red shadow as soon as he saw the red shadow.
"Ah!" A miserable cry rang out. Then a red shadow floated in the air, revealing Hongying's true face.
"Ah, Hongying, please spare my family, I beg you!" When Old Mrs. Jin saw Hongying's appearance, she was so scared that she immediately knelt down and kowtowed to her.
Hongying looked at her coldly, her eyes as if she wanted to eat Old Lady Jin.
Suddenly, Zhang Meng received a resentful look from Hongying. "Do you really have to meddle in this matter?" Hongying asked Zhang Meng with a cold look in her eyes.
Zhang Meng put away the peach wood sword in his hand. "As long as you don't harm anyone's life, I can let you handle this matter. But if you harm someone's life, even if I agree to do nothing, this peach wood sword in my hand will not agree."
After hearing this, Hongying sneered, "So, you really want to get involved in this matter. Fine, since you want to meddle in other people's business, don't blame me for being rude to you later."
As soon as she finished speaking, the nails on Hongying's hands suddenly became pointed and long.
Zhang Meng glanced at her nails and laughed, "I know your ghost power has greatly increased now. You have become an evil ghost!"
Hongying snorted coldly and said, "Since you know, why do you still care about this matter? I don't want to kill innocent people, but if you want to meddle in other people's business and help this family, I will kill you too."
Zhang Meng looked at Hongying, whose resentment and ghostly aura were growing stronger, and raised the peach wood sword in his hand again, pointing it at her. "Hongying, don't force me. If you turn back now, you can still have a chance to reincarnate. If you continue to be stubborn, you will really be torn apart."
Hongying sneered, "Don't try to scare me. I, Hongying, have been scared all these years as a ghost. I'm not afraid of being scared."
After saying this, Hongying's eyes were filled with endless hatred as she shot towards Old Lady Jin who was kneeling on the ground. "Huang Guihua, I will kill you, and then I will kill your son, your daughter-in-law, and your grandson. I want you to experience the same pain of having your family torn apart as I did."
As soon as she finished speaking, Hongying stretched out her sharp nails and flew towards Old Lady Jin.
Seeing this, Zhang Meng sighed, immediately pasted two talismans on the peach wood sword, and then went forward to meet him.
Just as her fingernails were about to pierce her enemy's throat, Hongying was showing a victorious smile on her face, when suddenly a glowing peach wood sword slashed at her hand.
A sharp pain immediately hit her. Hongying looked down and found that her hands had fallen to the ground.
Seeing Hongying's spirit had mostly dissipated, Zhang Meng immediately helped Old Lady Jin, who was kneeling on the ground, to her feet. She called out to her a few times, but she seemed to be frightened and didn't move. Helplessly, Zhang Meng had to help her to the side.
Hongying's eyes slowly turned red from the pain she felt. Her voice was as terrifying as if it came from hell. "Why, why are you helping this person who has done so much harm to the world? Is this how you, as masters, help the wicked?"
Zhang Meng glanced at Old Lady Jin, who was sitting stupidly in the corner. "I can't control the bad things she did in the past, but since she is still a human being, I have to ensure her safety. I am a fortune teller, so naturally I protect people and exorcise evil spirits."
Hongying laughed loudly, "What a great protector of people and exorcist of evil! In short, anyone who stands in my way must die."
Hongying suddenly had a piece of white cloth in her hand. She wrapped a chair with the cloth and threw it towards Zhang Meng quickly.
Seeing this, Zhang Meng quickly stepped away.
Before she could catch her breath, something fell on her head again.
Seeing the white cloth being thrown away at random, Zhang Meng gritted his teeth and quickly took out three pieces of talisman paper from his backpack with his right hand. He chanted the talisman loudly over them, "Heaven and Earth Mysterious Sect, Heaven has Heavenly Generals, Earth has Earthly Commands, Hurry and obey the command."
As soon as he finished thinking, three glowing talisman papers immediately flew towards the white cloth that Zhang Meng pointed at.
"Bang, bang, bang." Three loud noises were heard. The white cloth in Hongying's hand was immediately blown into three pieces.
