Seeing her heart flutter, Gu Mingtai raised the corner of his mouth slightly and immediately continued, "Some time ago, I heard Shi Lei say that there is a hotel near the capital. Many people go there. How about we stay there for a few days?"
After hearing this, Zhang Meng's heart skipped a beat. It was a world for just two of them. They had never experienced that as a couple before.
Just think about it, why is her little heart beating so fast? They are obviously not a newly married couple anymore.
"That's fine, but grandma and the others will be worried if we don't go back." Zhang Meng smiled, but when she thought of her family's worries, the smile on her face immediately faded a little.
Gu Mingtai smiled, held her hand and walked towards the parking lot. As they walked, he said to her, "Don't worry about this matter. When we get there, we can find a place with a phone and call grandma and the others to let them know."

The young couple quickly got in the car and set off.

The couple continued driving on this road for about thirty minutes, and finally a light in front caught their attention.
"Is that light the hotel you are talking about?" Zhang Meng asked excitedly, pointing at the light in front.
Gu Mingtai frowned, "No, we have already left Zijin County."
Zhang Meng was cold and hungry at this time, so she just wanted to find a place to have a hot meal and a comfortable bed to have a good sleep.

Zhang Meng was talking to him. Gu Mingtai turned his head and saw the fatigue on her face. He nodded and immediately drove the car in the direction of the lights.
As they drove along, Zhang Meng always felt, with the help of the car lights, that the road they were walking on was a bit eerie.
Not long after, the car stopped. It was a wooden house, about two stories high.
As soon as the couple got out of the car, a woman dressed somewhat seductively ran out of the wooden house.
"Are you here to stay?" the woman leaned against the door, looking at the couple with a smile and asked.
For some reason, Zhang Meng didn't like this woman as soon as she saw her.
In this era, a woman dressed up like a prostitute gives people a bit of a weird feeling.
"Can you stay here? We need a room to rest." Gu Mingtai said.
The woman immediately laughed. "Of course there are rooms. Come on in! You can move in after registering. Please come in quickly. It's late at night now. I tell you, we are the only family left within a hundred miles. There is no one else."
Gu Mingtai locked the car door, took Zhang Meng's hand and strode towards the woman.
As soon as Zhang Meng approached the woman, he stopped in his tracks. There were actually several male ghosts with ferocious expressions standing next to the woman.

"Come with me. Just choose the room you want." The woman looked at Gu Mingtai with a smile and turned to go inside.

So the couple continued to walk inside. The woman led them to a counter where a thin man was sitting.
As soon as the young couple came in, the thin man kept staring at Zhang Meng.
It feels like taking off someone's clothes and looking at them.
Zhang Meng subconsciously frowned, slowed down her steps with an unhappy look on her face, turned around and hid behind Gu Mingtai.
Gu Mingtai glared at the thin man with a somewhat gloomy expression. His tall body blocked his view.
At this moment, the woman suddenly coughed lightly and said to the thin man with a smile, "Old Luo Tuo, why don't you quickly arrange a room for the guests? What are you looking at?"
The thin man suddenly grinned, revealing a mouthful of yellow teeth, and said to the woman with a smile, "We have customers again. That's great."
After saying that, the thin man looked at Zhang Meng with a disgusted look again.
Gu Mingtai's face was so gloomy that it looked like ink could be twisted out of it. He threw two big unity notes on the table and said, "Hurry up and arrange a room for us."
