Researcher Tian chuckled and moved closer to his mentor, "Mentor, isn't that what we need? When we encounter problems, don't you guys always have our backs up?"
His master stared at him in disbelief, and for the first time he learned what shamelessness truly meant.
He kicked the other person and said, "Get lost! We have our own work to do, we don't have time to deal with you."
"Take it easy, don't make any more solid bombs."
He knew what kind of person his apprentice was. The other two were alright, but he was the one who was most likely to cause trouble. There was even a time when he almost blew everyone up.
Forget it, he should give Xiao Hou a proper talking-to; Xiao Hou can still keep him in check.
Soon, the research project was submitted, and the three of them were busy with intense work.
To ensure the smooth progress of subsequent work, Lin Chuchu took several books and explained the computer step by step. In fact, she herself only had a superficial understanding, making it extremely difficult to conduct in-depth research.
Unfortunately, none of the three were the type to give up easily, especially Researcher Tian, whose restless heart began to stir, and he wanted to get a computer and start disassembling it.

After all, it's better to scrap something than to have the technology leak out.
It was thanks to Chinese agents in the area who exposed their connections that the computer was preserved through others. It took a whole year to disassemble and transport the parts back.
The higher-ups grabbed Researcher Tian by the ear and even made him sign a pledge that the item absolutely could not be lost before he brought it back.
On the day the item was brought back to the base, everyone went to watch the spectacle; it was arguably the most valuable thing in their base.
Lin Chuchu stared blankly at the thing. The computer was big and heavy, and its exterior was made entirely of metal with some metal cracks, giving it a heavy sense of antiquity.
Lin Chuchu was certain that if that country's regime hadn't run into problems, China would never have been able to get its hands on this thing.
Watching Researcher Tian dodge his master's stick, Lin Chuchu sighed. Although the masters kept saying they wouldn't interfere, they must have put in a lot of effort behind the scenes. Otherwise, the three of them, as mere researchers, would never have been able to accomplish this.
If they don't achieve something, they'll be letting their master down.
“Master, stop hitting it. I’ve already signed a pledge. As long as this thing isn’t lost or damaged beyond recognition, we can study it with peace of mind.”
The reason it's so grand is because this thing is broken; it's broken as soon as it's brought in, and it can't be repaired.
The motherboard inside was burned out.
His master rolled his eyes, threw down the stick in his hand, and stormed off.
He no longer cared about his apprentice, and was so bold as to sign a pledge directly.
"Honestly, the older my master gets, the worse his temper becomes. I don't know where he got that wooden stick from, ouch, it hurts so much when he hits someone."
Researcher Tian rubbed his buttocks, muttering to himself.
Lin Chuchu and Researcher Hou ignored him, their eyes fixed on the computer.
Lin Chuchu whispered, "What should we do first? Take it apart?"
Researcher Hou's face remained expressionless, as if he hadn't noticed Researcher Tian's antics. After thinking for a while, he finally answered Lin Chuchu's question seriously.
"I think we shouldn't tear it down first, but rather fix it first."
Lin Chuchu gasped, utterly speechless at the two people's thought processes.
This thing is so big, it took so many people to fix it, how could just three of them fix it?
Researcher Tian walked over, squeezed between the two, and touched the metal casing.
"Let's listen to the little monkey, but at least we should know where the problem lies, right?"
In the end, it still needs to be dismantled, but it needs to be dismantled systematically, and then put back together.
The atmosphere among the three became increasingly tense. Lin Chuchu could draw, so she would record the dimensions of each item she disassembled and draw a clear blueprint of it.

How did a woman find this place without anyone to guide her?
Everyone had this question in their minds. Lin Chuchu's first reaction was the same as that of the soldiers: Could this person be a spy?
"Stop talking nonsense. If we really wronged you, we will apologize to you."
A soldier reprimanded him expressionlessly.
The woman stood with her hands on her hips, glaring at him, pointing at him as if about to unleash a torrent of abuse.
Just then, a man rushed out of the cafeteria and covered her mouth.
"I'm sorry, comrades. She's my wife. She's uneducated and didn't mean it."
Lin Chuchu was taken aback, not expecting that this person was actually the researcher's wife.
Seeing that the soldiers' attitude was acceptable, the researcher dragged the man aside.
"You...how did you find your way here? Aren't you at home taking care of Mom and the kids? How did you get out?"
