Lin Chuchu rolled her eyes at him. "How can that be the same? Before, it was to save my life."
The captain raised an eyebrow at her. "Then just think of it this way: Comrade Mu is in the village, and if you don't go to save him, he'll marry someone else. Isn't that enough?"
Lin Chuchu's fingers trembled slightly, and she said through gritted teeth, "I really thank you."
He doesn't even try to advise people properly; after he stirred things up like this, I'm not nervous anymore.
The group observed the village for a while, but no one came out, so they didn't know the extent of the armed forces inside.
The captain whispered, "We'll operate tonight. Comrade Lin won't participate; Black Wolf will stay behind to protect him."
Lin Chuchu stared intently at the captain with her dark eyes, hesitating to speak several times.
The captain's face remained expressionless.
"Our first task is to protect you and prevent you from getting involved."
Seeing his serious expression, Lin Chuchu took a deep breath, knowing that she had only caused trouble for the others, so she had to suppress her resentment.
This is a great hiding spot. After giving the instructions, the captain turned around and saw Lin Chuchu taking out compressed biscuits and water.

The team leader smiled at her, "Everyone, have something to eat and take turns resting so we can move out tonight."

After a while, Lin Chuchu heard a faint sound of footsteps.
Lin Chuchu's heart was in her throat. The quieter the situation, the more she wanted to make some noise.
She endured it, biting her lip and remaining motionless.
Just then, the sound of two people talking reached his ears.
The other person was speaking a foreign language and was clearly an illegal immigrant.
"Boss, are we really going into the village? Is what that woman said true? Or could it be that they're trying to lure us into the village so they can wipe us all out?"
“She wouldn’t dare lie to us, after all, her brother is still in our hands.”

"Captain, should we interrogate these people?"
One of the team members asked.
The captain nodded, glancing first at Lin Chuchu, who had already sat up, "A little further away."

The captain was overthinking it. Even if she were right in front of her, she would cover her eyes and refuse to look at the bloody scene again.
Lin Chuchu didn't say a word, and her main approach was to simply accept whatever the captain said.

Dragging along several men who looked like dead dogs.
