He watched furtively as his child entered the kindergarten, then took his own bag and went to the train station.
Her bodyguard was waiting for her at the train station.
Mu Chen saw the person onto the train, thanked the guard, and then reluctantly got off the train.
Lin Chuchu sighed as she watched Mu Chen's figure disappear.
I wonder when she will be transferred back to the capital.
As expected, no one came to pick them up, so they had to take a bus again and arrive at the ghost town.
As soon as I arrived at the base entrance, I saw Tang Xin and the guards walking out.
The two people have a casual relationship; they don't even greet each other when they meet.
Lin Chuchu naturally ignored Tang Xin.
Just as they were passing each other, Tang Xin suddenly said.
"Lin Chuchu, you win."
The voice was low, tinged with frustration.
Lin Chuchu glanced at her in surprise, only to see that the other woman didn't even give her a look before turning and leaving.
Lin Chuchu then noticed that the two of them were carrying backpacks.
What did Tang Xin mean by that?
Lin Chuchu frowned as she pondered; she hated people who only said half of what they meant.
Feeling bewildered, Lin Chuchu walked into the base. The base remained the same as always, heavily guarded, yet seemingly relaxed on the surface.

"Comrade Lin is back? How's your girlfriend? Is she safe?"
Lin Chuchu smiled and nodded, "Thank you for your concern, Chief. Mu Chen is safe now and has already started working at the Public Security Bureau."
After saying that, he took out two boxes of tea from his bag. “Sir, these are teas that my father collected. They’re not very good teas, but you can keep them and drink them slowly.”
The leader, who was about to refuse, couldn't resist the temptation of the tea.
He took it with a smile, then said to Lin Chuchu, "Do a good job. I have high hopes for you. Don't be like those people and do all that nonsense."
Lin Chuchu was curious; what exactly had happened? Seeing that the leader didn't intend to say more, Lin Chuchu swallowed back the question that was about to come out.
Oh well, we'll find out sooner or later.
I filled out the sign-in sheet again, and as usual, I got a half-day off.
Back in my room, I started washing the sheets and duvet covers.
After all, the ant nest that Tang Xin encountered was truly terrifying.
After delivering the items to the drying room, it was time for lunch.
Lin Chuchu and her bodyguard headed straight for the canteen.
