Chapter 301 Desperate Situation

After they finished breakfast today, they tried to sail in other directions, but no matter which direction they went, they always ended up back on the island.

No one has ever encountered something like this before.

In the afternoon, the four of them ate and chatted.

"Tomorrow morning, Xiao Lu and I will go to the island to see if there is a suitable place to house the helicopter."

"Team Leader Qin said in a deep voice."

Unable to travel by water, they could only try to fly out.

Lin Chuchu said, "Why don't we go with you? If we run into trouble, we can look out for each other."

Team Leader Qin shook his head. "No, the island is too dangerous. We must ensure your safety."

Lin Chuchu felt helpless, but she also knew that what the other party said was true.

She knew how important she was; others could get into trouble, but she couldn't.

However, it was so frustrating to watch them charge into battle.

I wish I were in better physical condition.

Lin Chuchu thought to herself, "If only the space were a little more powerful and could give me something to improve my physical abilities, that would be so great."

After finishing her meal, Lin Chuchu read through everything in her spatial storage to see if there were any two people who needed it.

The reason why Captain Qin chose Xiao Lu was that having a male comrade left behind would better guarantee Uncle Lin's safety.

They all wore bulletproof vests, and their other weapons and equipment were similar to those available today. Taking more would be useless and would only become a burden.

As evening fell, Lin Chuchu stood on the boat, gazing at the distant islands.

The island remained as mysterious as ever, with the occasional roar of wild beasts foreshadowing the dangers lurking there.

Lin Chuchu stared straight into the distance, silent and still, with Xiao Lu standing beside her.

Lin Chuchu saw the wreckage of the sunken ships; in the darkness, only black outlines could be seen.

"How about we go check out the shipwreck tomorrow?"

Lin Chuchu suggested that there might be some clues.

Xiao Lu felt it was useless. If they could leave, those ships would have left long ago and wouldn't be wrecked here.

However, Captain Qin told her that he really wanted to go and take a look.

Xiao Lu nodded. "We'll go check it out tomorrow. You all need to be careful. If there's any danger, make sure to move the boat away first. Don't wait for us."

Lin Chuchu glanced at her with a slightly somber look, said nothing, and looked away. If something really happened, Lin Chuchu would never abandon them.

It's no use talking about it now; he's already made up his mind what to do.

Suddenly, a question came to her mind: "Have you seen any birds flying in the sky these past few days?"

Xiao Lu's eyes widened suddenly as he thought back carefully, "I didn't notice, no, no bird flew by at all."

"Could it be that even the sky above this sea area is problematic?"

Chu Chu shook her head. She couldn't answer the question, but she suddenly had a premonition that things wouldn't go so smoothly tomorrow.

Sure enough, the next day, Lin Chuchu and her companion waited anxiously on the boat. Captain Qin and Xiao Lu would occasionally fire a couple of shots to let them know they were safe.

After waiting all morning, the two people finally returned, covered in blood, it was unclear whether it was theirs or that of an animal.

Seeing the disappointed expressions on their faces, Lin Chuchu's smile gradually disappeared.

Are they really unable to get out?

"Comrade Lin, don't worry. The outside world must already know about our disappearance and will definitely send warships to search for us. They might find us soon."

Team Leader Qin offered words of comfort.

However, Lin Chuchu's heart continued to sink, and despair gradually spread within her.

She bit her lip and said, "I know, you don't need to comfort me."

After saying that, she went back to her room for the first time, ignoring everyone else.

She lay on the bed, staring blankly at the ceiling.

They've been here for several days now, unable to send out messages or leave. Even if a warship comes, what if it accidentally enters this area and gets trapped here?

Lin Chuchu was extremely frustrated and scratched her head violently several times, messing up her hair.

She didn't want to stay here; she wanted to go back. However, she also knew that Captain Qin and the others had done their best.

She could no longer put pressure on the other person, so she could only put that pressure on herself.

He suddenly thought of the book pictures recorded in the space; perhaps there were some records there?

The thought spread through her mind, and Lin Chuchu sat up abruptly. She tapped around in her spatial storage, bringing up all the images, and then searched for them based on the sea area.

While Lin Chuchu was trying to come up with a solution, Qin and his team were doing the same; they had previously gone to the sunken ship.

Nothing was found. Even the corpses had been mostly eaten by the fish, with only some bones scattered around.

This made everyone even more worried, indicating that there were piranhas in this area.

They dared not go into the sea for a while.

However, if they really can't get out, they can't stay on the ship forever and will have to land on the island.

Fortunately, Lin Chuchu had a large number of spatial artifacts and weapons, enough for them to last for a very long time.

"Captain, we've tried both the sky and the sea. Do you think there's a possibility that we can find our way out underwater?"

Xiao Lu suddenly had a brilliant idea.

Team Leader Qin paused for a moment, then said, "That's possible. Starting tomorrow, I'll take my diving equipment and go into the sea to take a look."

He had observed before that there was white fog above the sea, but the seawater here was very clear, and you could see the deep seabed.

If white mist has a hallucinogenic effect, does that mean it doesn't have the same effect underwater?

"But what about the piranhas in the ocean?"

Another team member spoke up.

Xiao Lu knew that this situation was very dangerous. If the piranhas bit them and caused wounds, even if they had medicine, it would take a long time to heal.

They came up with one solution after another, but there were always problems with this or that, which made Captain Qin lose confidence.

"This is the only way for now. I'll go down and take a look tomorrow. Maybe those piranhas have already disappeared by now."

I said this to comfort others, and even more so to comfort myself.

We can't just sit here and wait to die.

Everyone knew Lin Chuchu was in a bad mood, so they quietly went about their own business.

In the evening, Lin Chuchu came out of her room, took out the food from her spatial storage, and ate with everyone.

Of all things, eating is the most important. After eating, your mind might become sharper, and you might be able to figure out the key to the problem and ultimately solve the current predicament.

Lin Chuchu told everyone about the information she had found in the space.

"The situation of this island indicates that there is a mining area in the vicinity of this sea area, which may be inside the island or on the seabed."

"If only I could store those ores in my spatial storage."

Upon hearing this, Xiao Lu had a wild idea.

Lin Chuchu also felt that this method was unrealistic, and Captain Qin suggested that he wanted to go to sea to take a look tomorrow.
