Chapter 60 Going Abroad

"Mom, the school wants me to study abroad for two months. I don't really want to agree, and I want to refuse the school leaders tomorrow."

Lin Chuchu made up her mind and decided not to go.

Everyone was stunned upon hearing this, and Mu Chen even put down his chopsticks.

"Chuchu, since the school chose you, it means the school recognizes your abilities. You have to go. Don't worry, everything is fine at home."

Mr. Mu chimed in, "Yes, Chuchu, go ahead. Your mother will take good care of the two children, and your maternal grandparents will be there too."

Mother Mu nodded, "Chuchu, don't worry, the shop can handle the workload. If it really gets too busy, I'll hire someone to help. One person can manage the shop without any problem."

Lin Chuchu was touched. "But I miss my child, and my child can't live without me either."

Mother Mu said nonchalantly, "It's alright, he's just a kid, you can coax him a bit and he'll be fine. Besides, this is such a rare opportunity, go ahead, it'll only be two months, he'll be back in two months."

After being persuaded by her family, Lin Chuchu finally agreed and went directly to tell her boss the next day.

Visas are easy to obtain now, and they're approved by the government. Lin Chuchu and her group will be setting off in less than half a month.

The group of students going abroad for further studies this time included not only those from their school, but also a senior professor from their own school, along with two students: Lin Chuchu and another male student.

Soon, they arrived at the meeting point. Everyone knew that luggage couldn't be too much for a flight, so each person only brought one suitcase.

The remaining two schools are similar to Qingdao University, with a total of six students, including Lin Chuchu, only two of whom are girls.

During roll call.

A classmate behind me raised her hand. She was a girl with short, neat hair, high eyebrows, and a pair of slender, almond-shaped eyes that were slightly upturned.

He exudes a sense of competence.

He extended his hand to Lin Chuchu and said, "Hello, Comrade Lin. My name is Liu Jiarui. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Lin Chuchu nodded and shook hands with her. "Hello, my name is Lin Chuchu."

The two of them will be spending two months together, and since they are both girls, they will definitely have opportunities to spend time alone together.

The two stood to one side chatting and laughing, attracting the attention of the other four male students.

Both of them were students at Beijing University, dressed smartly, and wore watches, clearly indicating that they came from wealthy or influential families.

Lin Chuchu's classmates frowned, their eyes full of disapproval.

Everyone else in the school is a group of two, but Lin Chuchu seems a bit too solitary.

What if a girl like this gets taken advantage of outside?

The other four male classmates were already quite interested in each other, and it would be even better if they could find a girlfriend.

Lin Chuchu and Liu Jiarui continued chatting happily, completely ignoring the stares of others.

Lin Chuchu admires Liu Jiarui's forthright and generous nature, while Liu Jiarui is drawn to Lin Chuchu's gentle personality.

They can talk about anything.

"Chuchu, do you have a boyfriend? I can introduce you to my brother. He's a minor official now, and he has a bright future."

As soon as he said this, all the other boys pricked up their ears to eavesdrop.

"I'm married. My partner is from the Police University, and my baby is almost three months old."

Lin Chuchu asked with a smile, "And you?"

Liu Jiarui smiled, revealing a set of small white teeth, "We're dating, and it should be soon."

"Soon" means that the wedding is coming soon.

Both of them are already taken? They didn't keep either of them?

They're doomed, they have no hope.

The two naturally sensed the others' ulterior motives, so they simply spoke up to avoid attracting attention.

After the teachers finished their polite exchanges, it was time to board the plane.

Lin Chuchu had taken a plane once before, but that time was short. This time, the journey will take more than ten hours.

Just as we took off, one of my classmates suddenly changed his expression, clutching his chest and turning pale.

"Teacher, I feel really uncomfortable. Could I change seats? I'd like a seat by the window."

His teacher rolled his eyes at him, "This is a normal reaction during takeoff. It will be fine once the plane is stable. It doesn't matter where you sit, and you can't open the windows."

Young people are so fussy; they're not as healthy as people like them.

A burst of laughter came from the surroundings. The male student lowered his hand from his chest and laughed awkwardly along with the others.

Before he left, his teacher told him that they represented the face of China abroad and that they must not disgrace the country.

Lin Chuchu and Liu Jiarui sat together, talking quietly.

Food and drinks are free on the plane.

The two ordered a bottle of juice, and then, around lunchtime, they ordered boxed lunches.

"I heard that people abroad eat hamburgers and fried chicken, how are we going to survive for two months?"

Liu Jiarui looked miserable; she was going to be miserable for two months without being able to eat Chinese food.

Lin Chuchu smiled and said, "It's okay, I brought a secret weapon."

Her suitcase contained sealed mushroom sauce.

Since liquids weren't allowed, Mu's mother prepared a lot of other powdered seasonings for her.

Of course, she also has some food in her space, such as some common snacks and vegetables.

She secretly bought these and put them in her online space.

"When you get there, share some with me. Whether I can have enough to eat for the next two months depends on you."

Lin Chuchu smiled and nodded; she had brought enough anyway.

They went to the United States, and when they stepped into this foreign land, Lin Chuchu still felt a sense of unreality.

Unexpectedly, she went abroad.

The person who came to pick them up took everyone to eat steak. Lin Chuchu ordered it medium-rare, and Liu Jiarui followed her example.

One of my classmates ordered a medium-rare steak, which still had some blood in it, so he could only eat it with a pale face.
