Chapter 63 Meeting Family

Lin Chuchu nodded and solemnly said, "Yes, leader, I swear that if I am lying, I will spend the rest of my life in prison."

The division commander nodded. "Alright, alright, you need to come with us to the barracks."

He pondered for a moment, then said, “We’ll find a way to transfer Comrade Mu Chen here, along with the two children, so you can focus on writing your book.”

Lin Chuchu had just given birth when she went on a mission for the country.

Now that she's back, Lin Chuchu should at least be allowed to meet the child.

Lin Chuchu breathed a sigh of relief; the higher-ups had come up with a more comprehensive plan.

"Thank you, sir."

Besides Lin Chuchu, all the old professors and teachers also went to the military camp.

When they arrived, Lin Chuchu was indeed exhausted. She put her luggage in the dormitory, which was a two-bedroom, one-living-room apartment in a military family compound.

Lin Chuchu came out of the cafeteria carrying food in her hands. She had taken extra food, since Mu Chen was coming.

As soon as Lin Chuchu stepped into the courtyard, she saw a tall figure.

She was also holding two children in her arms.

The man was excited when he saw Lin Chuchu. Before he could speak, the two little ones in his arms seemed to recognize Lin Chuchu.

She stretched out her little arms toward Lin Chuchu, making little babbling noises.

Lin Chuchu's previously indifferent expression immediately softened.

He quickly walked over and kissed each of the two little ones on the cheek.

The two little ones were happy and continued to babble to Lin Chuchu.

Unfortunately, she couldn't understand baby talk.

Lin Chuchu took a child from her, saying, "You came quite quickly."

Mu Chen nodded, his gaze sweeping across her face. "You've lost weight. After we finish the mission, let's go home, and I'll have Mom help you get some nutrition."

Lin Chuchu smiled and nodded.

They brought a lot of things, mostly baby formula, clothes, and toys. Mu Chen only brought two changes of clothes.

Lin Chuchu and the others entered the house, which had been deliberately tidied up and was fully equipped with pots, pans, and utensils.

Lin Chuchu placed the food she had brought back on the table, and the two of them ate together.

The two talked for a long time, and Lin Chuchu said everything she could.

"American bread is too hard; you have to soak it in milk. I'm so tired of eating hamburgers every day. They've all lost so much weight. Luckily, I've been with the professors and they've only been eating Chinese food for a month..."

Lin Chuchu chattered on about her experiences abroad, and also talked about the discrimination they faced from people overseas.

It was infuriating to hear, and Mu Chen's eyes were filled with cold light.

"In the future, our country will be better and stronger, and no one will be able to bully us."

Lin Chuchu nodded. "Yes, absolutely."

After finishing her meal, Lin Chuchu felt sleepy. She hadn't slept well on the plane and was still jet-lagged.

Looking at her, Mu Chen felt a pang of heartache and gently rubbed her head. "Go get some sleep. I'll wake you up when it's time for dinner."

Lin Chuchu couldn't take it anymore, so she agreed.

Lying on the bed with the two little ones inside, Lin Chuchu closed her eyes to rest and quickly fell asleep.

The two little ones played with their hands and gnawed on their toes, occasionally trying to talk to their mother, but Lin Chuchu didn't respond for a long time.

The two little ones played until they fell asleep.

After washing the lunchboxes, Mu Chen went into the room and saw that all three of them were asleep. He quietly covered them with blankets and went out to do some chores.

He didn't know how long he would have to stay here. Lin Chuchu's task was very difficult. She had to memorize the book every day. Others could translate it, but those who couldn't had to rely on Lin Chuchu's help.

In addition to those books, there are also research materials.

Lin Chuchu only rested for one day, and the next day she arrived at the temporary office full of energy.

This is a military camp, strictly controlled, and there are many soldiers inside.

On Lin Chuchu's table were some snacks, fruit juice, and fruit prepared by the staff, as well as coffee and tea to keep her alert.

The old professor said seriously, "Chuchu, I'll assist you today. Just tell me what you need. Let's start by writing those translation materials."

Lin Chuchu nodded, "Okay, there are twelve complete documents in the research materials, I'll write them down first."

The table was neatly stacked with manuscript paper, divided into many sheets, along with several fountain pens, ink sticks, and various pencils and erasers.

The fountain pen was for Lin Chuchu to use in rotation.

Lin Chuchu took a deep breath and began to make the first stroke.

When she was abroad, she was only focused on taking photos on social media, but thankfully the space had an automatic sorting function.

She hadn't looked at the contents carefully before, but now, she was increasingly alarmed.

These things are really much more advanced than those in China.

This includes experimental data and drawings.

The experimental data can be copied down bit by bit, but the diagrams are more difficult to obtain.

However, she discovered a new function of the space.

The space can project images onto paper, making it semi-transparent, which she can then trace directly.

This reduces the probability of errors.

Even so, Lin Chuchu would carefully check the tools on the screen after each image was completed.

Lin Chuchu moved quickly, and the professor sat beside her helping her organize her things.

Whenever the ink runs out, immediately replenish it; when the pencil becomes dull, sharpen it nearby.

We also need to organize and number the experimental data.

Lin Chuchu inevitably made mistakes during the copying process.

After all, Lin Chuchu is a human being, not a god, and it's impossible for her to be completely infallible.

During the inspection, mark any errors you find with a red pen.

The professor sent the manuscript out so that others could copy it again.

With the cooperation of all parties, Lin Chuchu's speed increased and her error rate decreased.
