The man's tone was icy, his voice filled with chill.
Lin Chuchu took out a small pencil sharpener from her pocket and silently handed it over.
"You're smart enough to know your place. We love well-behaved kittens the most. Behave yourself next time and don't try anything funny."
Lin Chuchu jumped out of the car and immediately saw Chen Long squatting on the ground with his hands tied. Chen Long's eyes were bruised, but his eyes lit up when he saw Lin Chuchu.
"Comrade Lin, it's so good to know you're alright."
After spending time together, Lin Chuchu realized that although this person usually seemed quite serious, he was actually a chatterbox in private.
His face showed genuine concern and remorse.
Lin Chuchu smiled as a gesture of comfort.
The parking area was a forest, a pristine forest rarely visited by humans.
Why is it always a forest? Can't we go somewhere else? Like the ocean or something?
Well, crossing the ocean requires ships, and the government controls it even more strictly, so I guess there's no chance of going out to sea.
The three kidnappers gave the two men some bread and bottled water.
"Eat the bread first, or we won't be able to get through the forest. If we waste time, we'll just throw you two up the mountain to feed the wolves."
These words were mainly directed at Lin Chuchu, since Lin Chuchu was the only woman he knew.
Lin Chuchu rolled her eyes. She wasn't going to argue with the other party about this.
Lin Chuchu ate while looking around at her surroundings.
After eating chil bread and drinking some water, Lin Chuchu finally felt the numbness in her legs disappear.
Having eaten and drunk her fill, Lin Chuchu didn't want to move at all, so Liu Er grabbed her by the collar and dragged her away.
"Wait, wait..."
Lin Chuchu let out a scream, her face flushed red, sweat began to bead on her forehead, and she gritted her teeth.
"Um...do you have any toilet paper? I need to use the restroom."
One of the men looked at her suspiciously, but the way she kept her legs closed didn't seem fake.
"Don't try anything funny. You won't be able to escape the forest on your own. You'll just end up being eaten by wolves."
Lin Chuchu nodded. "I know this basic common sense. Stop talking nonsense and give me some paper. I can't hold it in any longer."
Lin Chuchu finally got the paper and ran behind a large rock to block the others' view.
She took out her pager and glanced at it, seeing several messages.
She didn't know her place, and she couldn't just post anything.
