Liu Jiarui rolled her eyes at her and said, her face pale.
"How could this be? Why would I jump into the river?"
"So what happened to you?"
Liu Jiarui's face was gloomy. "I broke up with my boyfriend. He tricked a young girl and got her pregnant."
"Heh, he actually wants me to raise his child? Dream on."
She gritted her teeth, seething with hatred.
Lin Chuchu, however, saw glistening tears in her eyes.
Lin Chuchu placed the things on the bedside table and then sat down on the chair next to the bed.
"Weren't things fine last time? Why the sudden breakup? And what happened when you fell into the water?"
Liu Jiarui let out a cold snort.
"Hmph, what a scumbag. I've only been abroad for two months and they've already hooked up."
"Luckily, my older brother found out, otherwise I would still be completely in the dark."
