Upon hearing Qin's words, the prisoners' eyes lit up immediately.
His eyes were fixed on the chosen prisoner, hoping the prisoner would make a mistake.
The person being stared at swallowed hard, his right hand trembling with nervousness, his mind replaying the steps to eliminate the poison gas.
Qin's anxious expression made him somewhat impatient, and with a click, he pressed the pistol against the other man's head.
"If you delay even one minute, I'll shoot you. Don't worry, I guarantee you won't die after ten shots."
Team Leader Qin's tone was sinister, and a cold smile played on his lips.
"Okay, I'll start now."
The prisoner dared not delay, his hands moving without stopping. After pressing on the door a few times, he suddenly stopped.
"Alright, alright, the poison gas inside is being expelled."
He wiped the sweat from his face and said with a fawning expression.
Inside the glass enclosure, Lin Chuchu and Xiao Lu were arguing, with Xiao Lu wanting to give his clothes to Lin Chuchu.
"Sister Chuchu, put your clothes on. You are more important than me. It doesn't matter if I die, but you can't die."
Xiao Lu was also scared, but she still insisted on handing the clothes to Lin Chuchu.
Lin Chuchu pushed the clothes back, "Xiao Lu, no one in this world is more important than anyone else. Everyone has the right to live."
"Besides, this is just your guess. Perhaps these toxic gases won't penetrate the body through the skin."
Lin Chuchu refused to accept anything. Although she valued her life, she couldn't bring herself to cut off someone else's chance to survive in order to save herself.
Before Xiao Lu could say anything more, Lin Chuchu suddenly looked outside, her face full of surprise.

Lin Chuchu nodded excitedly as well.
The two hugged each other and jumped around.
Outside the glass enclosure, the toxic gas that had already drifted outside seemed to come alive, visibly retreating little by little.
After the poison gas dissipated, there was no residue left, at least not visible to the naked eye.
Only Lin Chuchu and Xiao Lu were able to move. Neither of them dared to leave the glass enclosure. Victory was just around the corner, and they couldn't afford to have anything go wrong at the last moment.
The two waited patiently, and half an hour later, all the poisonous gas outside dissipated.
The doors to the entire floor were finally opened, and Team Leader Qin led his men in.
Since they weren't wearing gas masks, Xiao Lu and Lin Chuchu took them off.
"Captain Qin, you've finally arrived! I thought we were doomed!"
The two men stepped out of the glass enclosure. Captain Qin glanced at them and, seeing no external injuries, breathed a sigh of relief.
He said with a smile, "We also have to thank you for making a commotion in the base, which allowed us to quickly find the base entrance."
"How are you? Are you hurt?"
Team Leader Qin still asked with concern, "The people of Japan aren't human, they're devils. I'm worried that the two of them might develop some kind of psychological trauma."
The two shook their heads, and Lin Chuchu replied.
"I'm fine now. At first, I got an electric shock in order to make it look more convincing."
Everyone stared wide-eyed, even Xiao Lu, who grabbed her arm and examined her from head to toe.
"Sister Chuchu, why didn't you tell me? No, I'll take you to the hospital right now."
Team Leader Qin nodded, "Yes, I'll take you back now. Someone will handle the aftermath of this base."
He never forgot his mission, which was to protect Lin Chuchu; he didn't need to worry about anything else.
They were on the second basement level. The third level contained many living people, but some of them were seriously injured and looked miserable. It was also unclear whether there were any residual viruses in their bodies.
However, the higher-ups have already considered this, so they have sent a lot of medical staff to keep the people here temporarily. After they recover, they will receive psychological counseling and then be sent back to their respective lives.
As Lin Chuchu walked out the gate, she saw the corpse on the ground that had been shot in the head, and the prisoners squatting to the side.
This wasn't the first time she'd seen corpses; today, in order to save her own life, she'd personally killed quite a few people.
So she walked past with a calm expression and a composed gaze.
Just then, a prisoner rushed over from the side and tried to grab Lin Chuchu's foot.
Before he even got close, he was kicked away by Captain Qin.
"Cough cough cough... I am Chinese, I was arrested, please let me out."
The person who was kicked away was very tall and strong, and stood out among the group of Japanese people.
He claimed he was arrested and coerced into doing bad things, and tearfully said he had children who needed him to go back and take care of them.
Sincere and heartfelt, Lin Chuchu couldn't tell whether it was true or false.
A Japanese prisoner standing nearby protested, “You traitor, sir! I’m reporting you! He betrayed his own people for money, killed many with his own hands, and even sent his wife to the base. The wife he claims to be his current wife is his lover.”
Lin Chuchu looked at the man who had spoken earlier with disgust.
She could understand that being arrested was a last resort, but personally sending her wife to the base was worse than being an animal.
His wife was incredibly unlucky to marry him.
Team Leader Qin would naturally not help someone like that.
"Someone will take over here soon. All the evil deeds you have done must be confessed."
"As a Chinese citizen, how dare you aid and abet evil? You'll face the wrath of the nation and its people!"
After saying that, he led Xiao Lu and Lin Chuchu out of the base.
