The visitor knew the base commander; the two nodded to each other, and the three of them went directly into the elevator.
Sitting in the car, Lin Chuchu had two soldiers sitting on either side of her in the middle, their expressions serious and showing no intention of talking.
Lin Chuchu could only look ahead. The New Year was approaching, and the festive atmosphere was strong.
The smiles on the faces of the passersby gradually calmed Lin Chuchu down.
Her country is getting better little by little, and China protects its people, so she should trust her country and its leaders.
Thinking of this, Lin Chuchu relaxed, and her aura changed.
Although the two soldiers kept their eyes straight ahead, their changes in mood were still quite obvious.
The sudden change was naturally noticed, and curiosity arose in my heart.
The only task they received was to provide protection; the identity of the person they were protecting was completely unknown.
Lin Chuchu looks quite young, but what is her real identity? Why is she being treated with such importance by the leaders?
The car wasn't going very fast; the base was already quite remote, and now it was even more so.
Soon, they arrived at the foot of a mountain. When Lin Chuchu got out of the car, she could clearly see a row of villas halfway up the mountain.
"Comrade Lin, let's go!"
While Lin Chuchu was curiously looking around, the leaders had already completed the formalities, walked to Lin Chuchu's side, and whispered something.
Lin Chuchu nodded and followed the leaders through the main gate.
The place was heavily guarded, with guards almost every ten steps, all armed to the teeth. Lin Chuchu could see the killing intent in their eyes.
That was the murderous intent of someone who had killed; anyone with a guilty conscience would have nowhere to hide under such a gaze.
Lin Chuchu didn't dare to look around carelessly, focusing her gaze on the steps beneath her feet.
The villa area is very quiet; this is where national leaders reside.
Finally, they arrived at the entrance of a villa. A middle-aged man came out and looked at Lin Chuchu with a surprised expression.
The young girl was quite young and had no idea what important matter the other party had that had alarmed such a high-ranking leader.
The two leaders said to him politely, "Uncle Chen, this is Lin Chuchu. We made an appointment with the big leader."
When he called earlier, he didn't say anything, only that there was something so important that it would affect the future of China, and he guaranteed it with his career and life. Only then did the top leader agree.
This was also the first time that the base's leaders had reported the issue to a higher level without going through the proper channels.
The man called Uncle Chen nodded, his face expressionless, and said in a flat tone, "Come in, the big boss is already waiting."
As Lin Chuchu walked inside, she noticed that the man called Uncle Chen had a scar on his face, which made him look less cheerful and more serious, even a little scary.
Upon entering the villa's courtyard, Lin Chuchu immediately spotted an elderly man exercising. He looked so kind and approachable, and his face was familiar.
She was familiar with him because Lin Chuchu often saw him on TV.
Lin Chuchu's expression suddenly tensed, her body straightened, and she saluted.
"Greetings, Commander!"
Everyone present saluted the senior leader.
The senior leader glanced at Lin Chuchu. She was dressed in military uniform and had the air of a soldier, as well as the vigor of a young person.
"Young comrade, is this the person you wanted to see?"
Lin Chuchu nodded, then glanced around hesitantly.
"Big boss, can we go inside and talk?"
She knew the people here were trustworthy, but she didn't want too many people to know about the space.
"Okay, let's go into the living room then."
The group entered the living room, leaving only a few people in the room. Lin Chuchu hesitated for a moment, then placed her right hand on the coffee table, which almost instantly vanished.
Everyone gasped. Even the base commander, who had seen it once before, was still shocked to see it again.
"This is a space that suddenly appeared when I went to the countryside. The space can hold a lot of things and has no size or volume restrictions."
"It also has translation assistance and photo tutorial functions. I didn't dare to report it to the government before because I was afraid of being treated like a monster."
Since the matter needed to be reported to the government, Lin Chuchu recounted the whole story in detail.
The big boss stared wide-eyed as he saw Lin Chuchu put the coffee table out.
"How much can the space hold? Can it hold living things?"
The top leader reacted quickly, immediately grasping the key point.
Lin Chuchu shook her head, "The space cannot contain living things, so I can't go in or plant anything."
If this were in a later era, with the proliferation of novels, people would certainly understand this kind of space.
One of the leaders took a deep breath, his face full of excitement, "What if we could steal all the advanced weapons from foreign countries and bring them back? Wouldn't we be rich?"
Lin Chuchu understood his excitement and knew his expectations, but still shook her head. "This space is actually quite useless. There's nothing that can protect me, and I'm just an ordinary person. My physical fitness isn't even as strong as that of an ordinary soldier."
In other words, even if Lin Chuchu were sent to a foreign military base and managed to steal weapons, she still wouldn't be able to escape.
After he finished speaking, everyone present was somewhat disappointed.
The high-ranking leader smiled and said, "Since you chose to report to the national government, it must be because there have been other changes in space, right?"
Lin Chuchu nodded. "Yes, my space has a replication function. Any Chinese antique that I have come into contact with can be replicated, and the replicated items will become genuine, while the replicated antiques will all become fake."
Everyone gasped. This function was incredibly powerful. During that war, China lost many national treasures, which are now on display in museums in other countries.
