Chapter 225 Salvage Mission

The leader came to greet us personally, and I, Captain Qin, shook hands with him.

"Welcome, welcome! I didn't expect to meet you all so soon."

Team Leader Qin said politely, "Sir, I'm sorry to trouble you again this time."

"What's the trouble? We're all colleagues."

As they walked into the base, they talked. "The orders from above came in a hurry. Our ship has only been at sea for half a month and it will be five days before we return. You can stay at the base for now and go out to sea with us when you have nothing to do."

Upon receiving the order, they informed the fleet to return as soon as possible, explaining that they had important business to attend to and could not return immediately, but they were trying to minimize the time required.

Team Leader Qin smiled and said, "Okay, sir. We've been here many times. We can just explore the base on our own."

Having been settled into familiar accommodations, in the same room, Lin Chuchu and Xiao Lu put down their luggage. Since it wasn't mealtime yet, they decided to rest in the room for a while.

Lin Chuchu rubbed her eyes and sat up, then rubbed her face before she finally came to her senses.

She said with a wry smile.

"Sigh, I've been a bit lax lately. I feel sluggish."

"You guys work too hard on your research. You can practice more when you get back."

Xiao Lu said with some heartache that she used to envy the researchers, thinking that they must be more relaxed than her, sitting in the office all day, doing data and studying materials.

However, after she became Lin Chuchu's bodyguard, she realized how hard they worked.

"Okay, I'll train hard when I get back."

Lin Chuchu chatted with Xiao Lu while eating. These past few days had some free time, and Captain Qin's idea was to let Lin Chuchu get familiar with the water and, ideally, learn to swim.

Otherwise, I wouldn't be so scared when I went diving.

Everyone in their group can swim. After completing the last mission, they specifically sought out someone to retrain them to ensure Lin Chuchu's safety while completing the mission.
