Lin Chuchu was stunned for a moment, and immediately realized that Researcher Tian must have done something again.
"Little monkey, let me go! There are so many people watching, can't you give me some face?"
Researcher Hou didn't pause in his steps. "No way. You earn your own face. If you don't even care about your own reputation, why should I give you face?"
Researcher Hou's face darkened; he wished he could beat her up on the spot.
Researcher Chen, standing behind her, greeted Lin Chuchu with a smile.
Lin Chuchu asked curiously, "About this..."
Researcher Chen gave her an appreciative look. "It's fortunate that you introduced Researcher Hou. He truly is Researcher Tian's instruction manual."
He's been having a comfortable time these past two days. After all, the troublemakers are being kept in check, and the atmosphere in the office has become much more harmonious, unlike the tense atmosphere of the past.
Lin Chuchu gave an awkward smile. What was she supposed to say? She had only said it casually back then, and the nickname had probably already spread by now.
Lin Chuchu practically ran into the elevator. When she went to the cafeteria for lunch, Researcher Tian was still chattering away with Researcher Hou.
As they approached the cafeteria entrance, a woman suddenly walked up to Researcher Tian and slapped him twice across the face.
Everyone stared at the woman in astonishment, and Researcher Tian was also dumbfounded.
Who is this woman?
Lin Chuchu stared at the woman in shock, a question surfacing in her mind.
The woman clapped her hands, smiling contentedly, "Comrade Tian, it's been a long time."
Researcher Tian snapped back to reality, nearly jumping up and down in anger.
"Who are you? What gives you the right to hit me? Do you think I'll give up?"
Seeing that the other person was wearing camouflage, they asked, "Are you a soldier here? How can a soldier hit someone?"
He was about to step forward, his angry posture making it seem as if he wanted to fight someone.
Researcher Hou and his colleagues snapped out of their daze and quickly stepped forward to stop Researcher Tian.
Lin Chuchu also stood in front of the girl and glanced back at her.
"Young man, why did you hit someone? Did you mistake me for someone else?"
The woman was quite easy to talk to Lin Chuchu, answering all her questions.
“I know him, and I hit him because he deserved it.”
He said he was stretching his hands, wanting to go forward again.
Researcher Tian was so frightened that she took two steps back. "You, you stay away! Don't think I won't hit you just because you're a woman."
