Lin Chuchu picked up the water bottle and gulped down several mouthfuls.
Suddenly, a gunshot rang out in the distance.
Lin Chuchu was startled, the kettle fell to the ground, and the water spilled out.
The captain quickly shouted a warning, and several people surrounded Lin Chuchu.
Lin Chuchu locked herself up, trying her best to hide herself in the crowd.
She knew how important she was now; these people had been given a death order to deliver Lin Chuchu to the military camp, even if it meant their own deaths.
The people protecting Lin Chuchu are a team of special forces soldiers, each of them highly trained.
Seeing Lin Chuchu's cooperation, he breathed a sigh of relief.
Soon, several more gunshots rang out, and Lin Chuchu's hands were covered in sweat from nervousness.
The captain pulled Lin Chuchu up. "Come on, I'll help you hide first."
Lin Chuchu gritted her teeth and followed closely behind. The two came to a low bush, where the captain pushed Lin Chuchu down and threw a lot of grass and shrubs at her.
"Don't move, don't worry, we will protect you."
Lin Chuchu obediently hummed in agreement, trying to lower herself as much as possible, stretching out her limbs to be in the most relaxed position, in order to avoid cramping.
Hurry! Lin Chuchu was buried in the bushes, unable to hear anything, only her eyes could move.

The gunfire became more intense, as if they were keeping the enemy at the outermost perimeter, preventing them from getting close.
But where did the enemy come from? Drug lords? Murderers? Or illegal immigrants who secretly crossed the border?
But the enemy had guns.
Her mind was in complete chaos. She was just an ordinary person, and any ordinary person would be afraid in such a situation.
Bang!
An explosion came from afar; they had actually started using grenades. Gunfire erupted again, and Lin Chuchu felt the ground shake. She almost screamed, but could only bite her lip desperately.
Tears welled in her eyes. She wondered how the soldiers were doing—were they wounded or dead?
Please don't let them die! Someone, please save them! They are soldiers, protecting the peace of this area, but... Lin Chuchu only hopes they can live.
They must survive; China hopes they will survive and not die.
Tears blurred her vision, so she simply closed her eyes.
Time passed, perhaps a long time, perhaps a short time, but it felt increasingly unbearable for Lin Chuchu.
