The three of them walked back in silence until they reached the room door, where Captain Qin followed them inside before speaking.
"Comrade Lin, if the goods are delivered here, are you really sure you can take them back?"
Lin Chuchu was taken aback, then nodded firmly, "Yes, I promise I can bring the things back, but you must ensure your safety and not act rashly."
Team Leader Qin smiled and nodded, "Don't worry, we'll definitely be fine, and I'll have another group of people who haven't shown up do it."
Lin Chuchu sighed silently in her heart upon hearing his words.
I knew I couldn't persuade them.
The exchange meeting will be held the day after tomorrow, and we will have a day to prepare tomorrow.
Team Leader Qin called the team members to the room. In the middle of the night, someone climbed out the window to find the other five people and explained the situation.
Fortunately, there are no surveillance cameras yet, otherwise, they would definitely have been discovered.
That very evening, they began to take action. The information exchanged at the meeting was far too little, and there wasn't anything of great importance to it. What they wanted was to obtain real medical technology.
They found out by asking around here.
The books that recorded medical techniques were all placed in the Royal Secret Library.
It is guarded by members of the royal family.
If it were placed in a military camp or hospital, they really wouldn't have many options.
But if it's kept in the royal family, there's a real possibility they could steal it.
They were members of a special forces team, but not gods. To avoid being discovered, they went to the local gang and paid a large sum of money, saying they were buying the life of a member of the royal family.
This member of the royal family was not considered important and was not part of the official staff, so the gang quickly agreed.
Although the other party's request was strange, they simply assumed it was some kind of unusual hobby, so they readily agreed.
First, assassinate the person, then strip their body naked and hang it at the royal gate, while simultaneously setting it on fire to let everyone know that something had happened to the royal family.
The time is set for tomorrow night.
Time flew by, and the next day, Lin Chuchu and the others stayed in their room and did not go out. The cafeteria delivered their meals on time.
They weren't used to the food here, so Lin Chuchu took out a lot of food from her spatial storage and had Xiao Lu deliver it to each room.
However, it was just biscuits, bread, and pickled vegetables. Lin Chuchu and Xiao Lu Qin were better off, as they got to eat steamed buns and mantou from the space.
After all, the two of them knew about Lin Chuchu's spatial ability.
Lin Chuchu knew that Captain Qin and his team would definitely make a move tonight. Lin Chuchu could only look at Captain Qin with worry. Captain Qin didn't say anything, nodded, and left.
Team Leader Qin's mission was to protect Lin Chuchu, so he couldn't go out on his own; the people who secretly went out were his teammates.
Lin Chuchu couldn't fall asleep no matter what she did. She stared at the ceiling with her eyes open, her heart pounding. This feeling of worry was just too unbearable.
The other seven people had already set off, taking advantage of the darkness to sneak into the palace and hide in a corner where no one knew them.
Time passed second by second, and a fire broke out in a corner of the palace, with flames shooting into the sky, causing chaos inside the palace.
The vice-captain whispered to the group.
"Walk!"
The group moved with the speed of cheetahs, splitting into two teams and rushing off in opposite directions.
They discovered that there were two studies in the palace, one of which was located in the emperor's bedroom and was filled with important books.
The deputy captain led two men to the outside of the emperor's bedroom. Perhaps due to overconfidence, there was no one guarding the study.
The bookshelves in the study were full of books, but they didn't look at them closely. They just judged whether they were medical books based on their names, and put the medical books in first. If the others could be put in, they would naturally put them in as well.
Time was of the essence, and everyone moved quickly. One person was about to pick up a book when he found he couldn't lift it. After shaking it several times, the wall suddenly opened in the middle, revealing a secret space.
There are three bookshelves on the three walls of the space, and some books and antiques and paintings are placed on the bookshelves.
The three exchanged a glance, and two of them immediately rushed inside, taking out their backpacks to pack books, as well as some antiques and calligraphy. It was a pity about the porcelain.
Finally, everything was packed, and everyone had at least two packages on their person.
"Let's get out of here first."
When the three of them went out, the palace was still in chaos. They arrived at the agreed meeting point, where one person was there to meet them while the others left first.
The four of them narrowly escaped the patrolling army and finally arrived at the base of the wall of the inn where Lin Chuchu was staying.
Lin Chuchu's window was open, and she had already received quite a few packages.
The moment I received the package, I put the bag into my storage space.
Their room was located in a corner and was relatively dark, so even if it was chaotic outside, the searchlights couldn't reach it, which made it easier for them to move around.
After picking up two more backpacks, I suddenly heard footsteps and whistles outside, along with some cursing. They had obviously started patrolling.
After the patrolmen left, another person climbed up the window. This person didn't leave because they were with Lin Chuchu and the others. They would leave directly from Lin Chuchu's room in a little while.
Another person came up, and seeing that all the items had been safely delivered, the other person turned around and left, intending to take advantage of the chaos to return to his place.
Seeing that everyone had returned safely, Lin Chuchu breathed a sigh of relief. "How are you? Is anyone hurt?"
The other person lowered their voice, "Comrade Lin, don't worry, we're all fine and uninjured."
Lin Chuchu nodded, "Okay, then you should go back and rest first. You'll probably be busy tomorrow."
If something goes missing from the royal family, the first people to suspect will definitely be those from abroad, and they might make trouble when the exchange begins.
