Chapter 8 Helping the Police Station Translate Manuscripts

Lin Chuchu wanted to get a large bathtub because she could only do simple cleaning every day, which was too much trouble, so she asked the old carpenter in the village to make one.

That day, Lin Chuchu was working in the field when a police car arrived. After speaking with the captain, the captain waved to Lin Chuchu.

"Lin Zhiqing, could you please come over here for a moment?"

With a very polite tone, Lin Chuchu paused and handed the hoe to Liu Rong.

The police officer saluted Lin Chuchu. "Comrade Lin, we would like to ask you for a favor. We discovered enemy agents in the nearby mountains. There are some English manuscripts inside. Could you please help us translate them?"

"Don't worry, we will make up for the missing work points."

Lin Chuchu nodded, "Okay, it's my duty to help the country."

Seeing that she readily agreed, the two policemen immediately nodded happily.

No one could understand the scribbles on those manuscripts. It would take time to bring in a translator from the provincial capital. Just then, a policeman remembered Lin Chuchu.

Everyone saw Lin Chuchu being taken away in the police car.

"Hmph, I told you Lin Chuchu wasn't a good person, right? You've all been fooled by her, you little vixen, she definitely has questionable morals."

The voice was sharp, and the captain frowned slightly. "Don't talk nonsense. The police asked Lin Chuchu to assist in the case. We heard that we need Lin Chuchu to translate some things."

After those words were spoken, no one dared to speak.

Lin Chuchu arrived at the police station in a police car, raising an eyebrow slightly as she looked at the manuscript that was half her height.

Without saying anything, Lin Chuchu signed the confidentiality agreement and then buried herself in her work.

The more Lin Chuchu translated, the more alarmed she became. In order not to waste time, she used her spatial abilities while translating.

I used a fountain pen, and I corrected any mistakes immediately.

These are experimental data, and they seem to involve national weapons.

Lin Chuchu translated a small stack of texts and then stopped writing.

The policewoman sitting opposite her looked up. "Comrade Lin, what's wrong? Are you hungry? Would you like some water?"

Lin Chuchu has been sitting in her seat without moving since she arrived at the police station, and she hasn't even eaten lunch.

The policewoman went to the cafeteria to get food and kept it nearby, so that she could heat it up whenever Lin Chuchu said she was hungry.

Lin Chuchu shook her head and gently shook the translation in her hand.

"Could you please have someone take a look? I'm not sure if I'm qualified to handle the rest of these things."

The policewoman stared wide-eyed, seeing that the other party showed no sign of changing his mind.

Only then did he realize the seriousness of the situation, so he picked up the translation manuscript from Lin Chuchu's hand, asked her to wait a moment, and went out.

Lin Chuchu's stomach was growling with hunger. Seeing the aluminum lunchbox next to her, she knew it was prepared for her and put the lunchbox on the stove to heat it up.

She was eating heartily when the door was suddenly flung open, revealing Lin Chuchu with a piece of braised pork in her mouth, her lips greasy.

The excited middle-aged man opposite him paused for a moment, then smiled and spoke.

"Comrade Lin, please have your meal first. We can discuss the matter later."

Lin Chuchu nodded and quickened her pace slightly.
