Chapter 247 Sweeping Them All in One Wrap
In the early hours of the morning, Lu Ting and Yan Wu each led a large group of men in two separate groups to surround the eastern suburbs.
In the darkness, only their breathing could be heard. They made their way unimpeded and soon approached the enemy's base.
Lu Ting waved his hand with a stern face, and his men violently smashed open the door. The people inside were startled by the sudden loud noise and rushed out to check.
When Yan Wu saw the large group of people outside trying to run away, it was too late. He roared, "Charge!"
Everyone rushed forward and quickly brought these people under control. Sanada Haruhi, who was at the very back, heard the commotion outside and his heart sank.
Upon hearing the commotion, Wu Ju panicked like a cat on a hot tin roof. "What do we do? It looks like someone's come in..."
Sanada Haruhi gave her a cold look. "I've really fallen for you this time."
I'm asking you, are there any back doors or tunnels or anything like that in this yard?
Wu Ju panicked, "No! We bought this whole area, so we didn't prepare any of these things."
Sanada had nothing more to say to such a fool. She simply inserted a needle, and Wu Ju collapsed to the ground, her life hanging in the balance.
As the sounds of the search grew closer, Sanada Haruhi gritted her teeth and leaped over the outer wall. However, the moment she landed, her back pressed against something cold...
Sanada Haruhi's back stiffened instantly. The person behind him commanded in a deep voice, "Put your hands up now. You're under arrest."
Sanada Haruhi slowly raised her hands, and the instant she raised them above her head, her eyes suddenly changed, and she turned around with lightning speed, silver needles between her fingers, ready to retaliate.
The person behind her sneered, simply reaching out to choke Sanada's hand, and then kicking her in the back of the knee.
The silver needle in Sanada Haruhi's hand flew in the opposite direction, and she was pressed to the ground by the immense force of the person behind her, unable to move. She couldn't even struggle, and could only hear the cold laughter of the person behind her.
"That's hilarious. You Japanese are still living in the past? Do you really think you can turn the tables?"
Someone nearby joked, "They probably think you're too weak."
The voice retorted defiantly, "Me, weak? Who lost to me in the last military region competition?"
Upon hearing this, Sanada Haruhi's heart sank. The military!
The two didn't say much, and soon escorted Sanada to the courtyard gate, where Lu Ting was waiting.
Looking at Lu Ting standing on the steps, looking down at them, Sanada Haruhi's eyes widened. The Lu family!
Lu Ting waved his hand and ordered, "Send them all to the detention center!"
"yes!"
Sanada Haruhi struggled to turn around, wanting to shout, "Aren't she allies with the Lu family? What do they mean by this?"
But the people next to her didn't give her a chance to speak; they simply gagged her and took her away.
Lu Ting coldly watched the people being taken away. Yan Wu came out and said, "Uncle, the entire inspection is complete. All suspicious individuals have been arrested, but..."
"But what?"
“We made such a commotion just now, but none of the boys in the backyard woke up. I suspect that someone drugged them.”
Lu Ting frowned. "Drugned? Then quickly get a doctor to examine you."
Yan Wu nodded, "Among the people you brought is a military doctor. They are already conducting examinations, and the results should be available soon."
Lu Ting nodded, "Who exactly did this...?"
