They did it!
Lu Yi couldn't wait to share the news with Ye Ran. He picked up his coat and said to Chen Zheng and Qingzhu, "I'm going to the hospital first. You guys wait for me at the Beijing Grand Hotel."
"It's my treat today, everyone can eat whatever they want, I'll pay the bill later!"
Everyone laughed even more heartily and headed straight for the Beijing Grand Hotel.
Lu Yi smiled and then drove to the hospital.
He walked briskly towards Ye Ran's ward, and just as he reached the door, he saw Ye Ran chatting with her two mothers.
He took a deep breath, strode forward, and walked to Ye Ran's side.
Seeing his expression, Ye Ran and her two mothers knew he had something to say, so they all stopped and looked at him.
Lu Yi's eyes were full of smiles as he announced loudly, "Ranran, Mom! I did it!"
All three were stunned for a moment, and then the three women screamed at the same time.
"Very good!"
Ye Ran excitedly reached out to hug Lu Yi, and Lu Yi laughed and hugged her tightly.
Tears welled up in Ye Ran's eyes. "I knew you could do it! Have you been busy rushing to finish this all this time?"
Lu Yi stroked her hair. "Ah! This is a gift I prepared for the children! Luckily, it was finished before they were born, otherwise, what if the children were disappointed because they didn't see a gift from their father?"
Ye Ran smiled and wiped away her tears, "They'll definitely love this gift!"
As if to agree with what their mother had said, both children kicked Ye Ran's stomach at the same time.
Ye Ran cried out as he kicked her, and Lu Yi quickly looked down at her, "What's wrong?"
Ye Ran waved her hand, "It's nothing! I'm due to give birth soon, so the baby is just a little more active than before."
Lu Yi breathed a sigh of relief, but soon Ye Ran's expression changed.
Waves of excruciating pain quickly silenced her laughter.

The whole family had arrived. Lu Ting and Ye Jun, the two fathers, felt Lu Yi's nervousness and went up to talk to him.
