Chapter 46 The Secret Recipe (1/2)

Chapter 46 Secret Recipe

"Okay, let's do it the way Xiao Lu said. Ranran, don't refuse!" Hou Zhiqiang made the final decision.

Ye Ran had no choice but to compromise, "Alright then..."

Seeing that things were roughly settled, Hou Zhiqiang pondered for a moment, "Sister, from now on our business won't be so small-scale anymore, shouldn't we draw up a new contract?"

Before Ye Ran could speak, Lu Yi took over, "That's definitely necessary, and it would be best to sign a standard commercial contract."

"Then how do we draft a contract?" Ye Ran asked. Last time, she and Hou Zhiqiang only made a written agreement, which wasn't a very formal contract.

Although she had done business and signed contracts in her previous life, those contracts were all drafted by a professional lawyer, and she didn't know how to do it.

To everyone's surprise, Lu Yi smiled slightly and said, "I know how. Leave it to me!"

Ye Ran looked at him with a hint of admiration, "You can even do this?"

Lu Yi was quite pleased. "Fortunately, someone in my family knows a little bit about this, and I've also picked it up from what I've seen and heard."

Ye Ran nodded in belief. When she later met Lu Yi's family, she wished she could be reborn and wake up from her naivety. What could you call a little bit? It had to be as big as a mountain or a lake!

Hou Zhiqiang and Ji Yin were also somewhat impressed. "Then we'll have to trouble you, Xiao Lu."

"It's alright. Ranran's affairs are my affairs. I will try my best to make sure there are no mistakes. I'll bring it over tomorrow morning."

"Okay, thank you for your hard work."

"No, it's only natural."

After listening to them sort things out back and forth, Ye Ran stopped worrying about it and prepared to go home with Lu Yi.

But as soon as he stepped out the door, Lu Yi stopped in his tracks.

"What's wrong? Did you forget something?" Ye Ran asked, looking at him with a puzzled expression.

Lu Yi smiled and said, "No, it's just that... how could I go empty-handed on my first visit to my future father-in-law's house?"

Ye Ran's face immediately turned red. "It's not even close to being settled yet, what's the rush! Let's not buy it, let's go!"

To everyone's surprise, Lu Yi said righteously, "Who said it's not even a stroke yet? I think it's just missing that one stroke. You don't need to worry about it, I'll go buy it myself."

As he spoke, Lu Yi darted into the alleyway of the black market. Ye Ran didn't even have time to stop him and had to wait outside.

While waiting, Ye Ran kicked some pebbles on the ground out of boredom. Although she kept muttering about Lu Yi, she was actually quite pleased with herself. After all, Lu Yi valued her parents so much, which meant he also valued her.

Ye Ran couldn't help but laugh when someone suddenly patted her on the shoulder, startling her.

She turned around in shock, only to find it was Lu Yi.

"Ranran, I've bought it." Lu Yi smiled and came over to take her hand.

"How did you finish buying it so quickly?"

"Am I such a person who doesn't plan ahead? When I went to the market with Brother Hou, I already had someone prepare everything for me."
