Chapter 462 Fifth Avenue
Lu Yi and his companions had no idea what happened to the two brothers, nor were they interested in knowing; they had already moved on to another place to have fun.
Watching the Statue of Liberty recede into the distance, Ye Ran sighed, "I finally managed to go out for a trip, and I ran into such a lunatic. It really ruined my mood."
Yan Xiu'er nodded, "Yes, but to be honest, this Statue of Liberty doesn't seem to have much to offer, does it?"
Lu Yi smiled and said, "The tour guide just said that there's a passageway inside the Statue of Liberty that you can climb up along!"
Yan Xiu'er curled her lip in disinterest, "I heard that, that's equivalent to climbing twelve floors! My old arms and legs don't want to suffer like that!"
Ye Ran agreed, "Yes, if we have that energy, let's save it for climbing the Leshan Giant Buddha!"
Lu Yi smiled, "Okay, so where do we go next?"
Yan Xiu'er excitedly patted Lu Yi on the back, "Let's go to Fifth Avenue! I heard there are lots of shops selling clothes and jewelry there! Let's go there!"
"Today, our whole family is getting new clothes, and it's on me!"
Lu Yi and Ye Ran cheered, then said to Zhengzheng and Jiaojiao, "Did you hear that? Grandma's treating everyone today! Aren't you happy?"
The two children smiled excitedly, clapping their hands repeatedly, "Great! So happy!"
Yan Xiu'er gently pinched the two children's noses. "You two little rascals! Ever since you learned to clap your hands, why do you like to clap your hands for everything?"
Jiaojiao laughed so hard her drool was practically dripping, and she kept saying, "Grandma...buy..."
Zhengzheng clapped enthusiastically, his face turning red.
Looking at the two children's innocent faces, Ye Ran suppressed a laugh and took a few photos of them.
Looking at the two children in the photo, laughing so hard they were drooling everywhere, Ye Ran showed the photo to Yan Xiu'er. Yan Xiu'er laughed and said with concern, "Oh dear, my two darlings, why are you drooling everywhere? What will you do when you grow up and see these photos?"
Lu Yi chuckled, "That's exactly what we need to do. We'll take lots of these kinds of photos, and if they misbehave in the future, we'll show them the photos!"
Before Ye Ran and Yan Xiu'er could say anything, Jiao Jiao frowned and said, "Daddy, you're bad!"
Zhengzheng chimed in, "Daddy! Bad! Bad!"
As Lu Yi drove, without turning his head, he said to his two children, "Daddy can be even worse! If you don't behave, Daddy will show you just how bad Daddy can be!"
The two children immediately snuggled into Ye Ran and Yan Xiu'er's arms, crying, "Daddy, I'm scared, hug me~"
Ye Ran and Yan Xiu'er chuckled as they held the two children, saying, "They can't understand anything yet, what's the point of you saying all this?"
Lu Yi said in a serious tone, "Education must start from a young age. We can't just shut them out because they're young! They're smarter than you think!"
Ye Ran held the child's little hand and shook it, "Is what Daddy said true?"
Zhengzheng and Jiaojiao pulled their little heads out, "Really! Really..."
Yan Xiu'er beamed with joy, "My two little grandchildren are so clever."
Lu Yi looked thoughtful. "It's time to teach them more."
