Chapter 476 Taking Friends to Jump Ship (2/2)

Instead of going in directly, Katie extended her hand to Lu Yi again, "Hello, you must be Mr. Lu Yi? Oh my! You're my idol! I never thought I'd get to meet you in person. I'm so lucky today!"

Lu Yi was just annoyed by this person's overly enthusiastic attitude towards Ye Ran, but seeing how this person greeted him, he couldn't refuse, so he also extended his hand to greet him.

After greeting Ye Ran and Lu Yi, Katie smiled and greeted Mike, "Hello, senior."

Mike shook his head helplessly. This Katie was too enthusiastic, making him feel a little helpless most of the time.

After exchanging some meaningless pleasantries, the group went inside to discuss business.

Several people sat in the conference room and had a more in-depth discussion about the upcoming cooperation and details. Both sides had professional business lawyers and financial advisors on hand, so it was easy to talk things over.

Even so, it took them three hours to finalize the general details of the collaboration.

The lawyers for both sides drafted an initial draft of the cooperation agreement based on some issues and details raised during the discussions. After further deliberation, they revised it into a contract that was somewhat more satisfactory to everyone.

After carefully reviewing all the terms in the contract, both parties solemnly signed their names and affixed their company seals to the contract.

Upon seeing the signed contract, Ye Ran and Kedi stood up simultaneously and shook hands amicably once again.

After shaking hands, Ye Ran earnestly promised, "The agreed-upon amount will be transferred to your company's account as soon as the bank opens tomorrow morning. I hope you will use this money wisely."

"Draw the oil out as soon as possible, and then take over that mine in Myanmar."

Kady nodded, "Definitely. We've already discussed everything else and the professional technicians. We're just waiting for the funds to arrive so we can get started."

Ye Ran nodded, "The sooner the better, but we can't just focus on speed; we still need to see the results."

In short, Mike has vouched for your company's professionalism, so you can't let your senior down!

Katie winked at Mike, "Of course! Senior, you definitely won't be disappointed!"

Everyone laughed, and then talked for a while about the future development of Kedi Mining.

Both sides strongly agreed on investing in the Middle East and Africa and briefly discussed investment plans.

It wasn't until 6 p.m. that everyone realized Ye Ran had suggested treating them to dinner, but Katie declined because he still had many things to take care of.

The money will arrive in his account tomorrow, and he needs to rush back to finish what he needs to do.

Ye Ran had no choice but to see them off. Watching Katie's hurried departure, Ye Ran looked at Mike and asked, "Has Katie already taken over his father's job?"

Mike nodded. "That's right. Although his father is still the official boss, Katie is basically handling everything."

Furthermore, Katie's father only has one son, so there are no other complicated circumstances.

Ye Ran nodded in understanding, then said goodbye to Mike and went home with Lu Yi.

The next morning, Morgan and the others arrived as agreed. Ye Ran was speechless as she looked at the conference room full of people.

Didn't you say you only had a few friends...?

Just as Ye Ran was about to say something, she spotted a familiar face in the crowd…
