Chapter 478 Hoarding Lafite Wine
By the time Lu Yi returned, the two of them had already packed most of their luggage.
Seeing dozens of suitcases of all sizes, Lu Yi sighed and rubbed his forehead, unable to bear the sight. "Mom, you bought way too much!"
Yan Xiu'er pouted in dissatisfaction, "This is nothing! There are so many people in our family, and I only bought two sets of clothes for each person. That's all. I haven't even bought anything else yet!"
Lu Yi, both amused and exasperated, emphasized to her, "Mom, we're going back by plane. There are weight limits for luggage on airplanes. Even if we pay extra for checked baggage, we probably won't be able to bring all this stuff back!"
Yan Xiu'er waved her hand, "You don't need to worry about that. I've already called Yun Hao, and he told me that there's a cargo ship that's going to be transporting goods back to China soon."
"I'll just dump these things at his place, and he'll take them back for us."
Lu Yi and Ye Ran exchanged a glance and sighed helplessly.
Ye Ran continued to help Yan Xiu'er pack. Lu Yi went in to check on the two children, who were fast asleep with drizzle on their lips.
Seeing the two children sleeping in identical positions, one leg straight and the other bent inward, with both hands raised above their heads, Lu Yi couldn't help but take out his phone and start snapping photos of the two children.
After Lu Yi had had his fill of taking photos, the two children smacked their lips a few times, wiggled their legs a few times, and then opened their big, bewildered eyes.
When the two children first woke up, they were still dazed and didn't know anything. But once they were more alert, they saw their father squatting by the bedside with a smile of relief on his face.
The two children were a little unaccustomed to their father's strange behavior, but they only reacted when Lu Yi reached out to hug them, exclaiming, "Daddy~"
"Hey! Daddy's little darling, are you awake yet? Do you need to pee?"
The two children yawned a few more times, "Want~"
Lu Yi picked up both children, one in each arm, and headed towards the restroom.
Only after he had taken good care of both children did he walk out with them in his lap.
Seeing the boxes full of stuff, the two children were very excited and wriggled their little legs, wanting to get down.
As soon as Lu Yi put the two children down, they started running around pushing boxes to play.
After they finished packing everything, Yan Xiuer and Ye Ran were both exhausted.
Yan Xiuer wiped the sweat from her forehead and said with a sense of accomplishment, "Finally all packed up. I'll call Yun Hao now and have him call a car to come and take all this stuff away."
After saying that, she happily went back to her room to get her phone.
Seeing Ye Ran's exhausted face, Lu Yi handed her a glass of warm water. "Are you tired? Have some water."
Ye Ran took the water glass and gulped it down in a few mouthfuls. "Packing things is so tiring, even more tiring than going to work. What are we going to do for dinner tonight?"
"It's just our family. Why don't we go out to eat? Director Huang and the others went to say goodbye to their friends they met here, so we don't need to prepare dinner for them."
Lu Yi patted her head. "Okay, then I'll call Qingzhu and Chen Zheng too. They're not coming back with us this time. Let's have a get-together for the last few meals."
