Ye Ran glared at him. "They're egging you on to drink! How long has it been since you last had a drink? You're feeling so unwell, and you have a flight to catch tomorrow. How can you possibly stand it?"
Lu Yi smiled wryly, "It really has been a long time since I've had a drink. The last time was when I was drinking with my father-in-law!"
Ye Ran sighed helplessly, "Alright, finish your drink and get some sleep. I'll make breakfast; I have things to do later."
Lu Yi nodded, "Yes, my side is mostly made up of our own people, so I don't feel at ease. But your side is just starting out, so you'll need to put in a little more effort."
Ye Ran nodded, "That's right, but Meng Ran has already arrived. I'll take him to the company today. He's absolutely reliable when it comes to getting things done."
Upon hearing that Meng Ran had arrived, Lu Yi's mouth dropped open in surprise. "Meng Ran is here? When did this happen? Why weren't we asked to pick him up?"
Ye Ran cleaned up the bowl of soup that Lu Yi had finished drinking. "He arrived late last night and called me this morning. I'm going to pick him up now, and we'll go straight to the company later."

After dinner, Ye Ran refused Lu Yi's offer to drive her and instead took a taxi to find Meng Ran.
After the car stopped in front of the hotel, a gentle and handsome man quickly got in. "Ranran, it's been a long time."
Seeing her friend whom she hadn't seen in a long time, Ye Ran was also very happy. "It has been a long time, Meng Ran, you've finally come!"
The two men looked at each other and smiled, then began to talk about company matters.
