Chapter 504 Extra: Two Children (Part 1)

Summer arrived, and the sun in the sky was incredibly strong, as if it wanted to kill someone with heat, growing stronger day by day.

Under the blazing sun, a girl strolled leisurely towards the convenience store with a carefree air.

Seeing her unhurried demeanor, everyone felt sorry for her, but the girl didn't have many beads of sweat on her face; instead, she looked relaxed.

The female classmates were more envious of her fair, jade-like skin. They clearly did much better sun protection than her, so why weren't they as fair as her?!

Several girls were secretly biting their lips when they suddenly saw someone walking towards them. They immediately withdrew their jealous gazes, brushed their bangs behind their ears, and inadvertently revealed their ladylike demeanor.

But the newcomer didn't even glance at them. Instead, she urged the person who was slowly walking over, "Sister! Can't you hurry up?!"

"You took so long to buy an ice cream? Were you doing this on purpose? In this weather, what's left after walking all that way?!"

Jiaojiao slowly licked the popsicle in her hand, looking innocently at her younger brother, "Who told you to make me run errands! It's so hot, I'm not going to run errands!"

Why do you think I asked you to buy it?

Zhengzheng glared at her, not wanting to waste the popsicle she had bought, so she didn't bother arguing with her. She took a few steps forward, snatched the popsicle from her hand, and then quickly hid under the teaching building.

Looking at her younger brother who had run out again, Jiaojiao pursed her lips smugly. "You brat, it's just buying an ice pop."

They insisted that she buy it herself and wouldn't allow her younger brother to do it. The younger brother respected her as his older brother, which is why he ran errands for her. What's wrong with that?

But I can only think these things in my heart; I can't say them to this kid's face, otherwise he'll tell my parents again.

Seeing his older sister approach, Zhengzheng peeked out from the side a little and asked, "Will Mom and Dad be back today?"

"I don't know! We should be able to get there. Sigh! It's all your fault. If you hadn't been sick and I hadn't needed to take care of you, Mom and Dad would definitely have taken me with them!"

Zhengzheng looked speechless. "You take care of me? Your way of taking care of me is to make me eat spicy hot pot like crazy when I have a cold?"

Speaking of this, Jiaojiao awkwardly took the last bite of the popsicle, "Isn't it delicious? I wanted to share the food with you!"

"You're bringing up the past now? Weren't you enjoying the meal back then?"

Zhengzheng glanced at her and said, "That's because you only bought me that. If I don't eat it, I'll just starve to death."

"Hehe~ Don't talk nonsense when Mom and Dad come back. At worst, your sister will treat you to something delicious."

Zhengzheng chuckled softly, "That depends on my mood."

Just as Jiaojiao was about to say something, the school bell rang. The two siblings stopped talking and immediately ran to the classroom.

Once in the classroom, Jiaojiao plopped down in her seat, and her lackey next to her said obsequiously, "Boss, did you go buy popsicles?"

I already said that you don't need to do this yourself; we can do it for you."

Zhengzheng behind her sneered, "It's because of you that she's become more and more arrogant. Jiaojiao, I'm warning you, don't let anyone run errands for you anymore."

My parents said we're here to study, not to get involved in the underworld. We shouldn't do things like those petty thugs do to our classmates.
