Sheng Xiping thought it over and agreed. The bears needed to be taught a lesson, to let them know how tiring the work on the mountain was, and see if they would still be curious.
"Alright, you two will be following your brother Fusheng and Qinglin today."

And so, Sheng Xi'an and Sheng Xikang were assigned to work.
Don't think clearing the forest is easy. Those fresh tree stumps and branches are quite old and heavy, and need to be dragged to a designated location and piled up together. In some places, the journey is quite long.
The snow on the mountain was so heavy that it was usually above knee-deep, and in some places it was almost up to the thigh.
Walking in such snow is difficult enough, let alone dragging large bundles of tree branches. How could you not be tired?
After just one morning, Sheng Xi'an and Sheng Xikang were both drenched in sweat.
"Look at you two, all wet like you're in bed. Are you still curious now? Do you think the mountain is a fun place?"
What you're doing is the easiest job. Why don't you try lifting a big log?
With your small frames, you two were simply crushed by the weight.
At noon, instead of going down the mountain for lunch, everyone brings some dry food, builds a fire on the mountain, roasts the food, and eats a bite.
Sheng Xiping broke the baked buns in half and handed them to his two younger brothers.
The two of them took it, not caring whether they choked or not, and ate a steamed bun in no time.
"Eat slowly, what's the rush? Here's some water."
Sheng Xiping handed the hot water from the teacup to his two younger brothers.
