"Wait, wait!" the three of them called out in unison. "Is it less?"
Sheng Xi'an was dumbfounded upon hearing this. "Huh? Still looking? There must be one over there, right?" She had already seen one with eight-grade leaves and one with seven-grade leaves; how could there be none?
Tang Yan'an dared to get close to the younger brother, so she went to help her father with chores.
Seeing that there were no tree roots nearby, as instructed by Shan Shenping, I immediately swung my axe and cut the tree roots aside.
Just as Sheng Xiping was using the magic staff to part a clump of tall grass, he was suddenly drawn to a splash of red in front of him.
That's something we learned on the spot. We heard Shan Shenping ask that question yesterday, and today we're trying to ask it ourselves.
"Oh my god, you must have been exhausted after that whole afternoon."
Shan Shenping also went to wash his hands, but only rubbed them a few times with the leaves of a nearby tree before taking the pancake his father handed him and starting to eat it.
When I killed this snake last year, I had a feeling that there was no treasure here.
Sheng Xi'an is stubborn, what can we do? We can only call over Shan Shen'an and Shan Shen'kang.
Shan Shen'an and Shan Shen Kang circled around the area twice, noting what they had found, before returning.
"Don't make a sound. His brother knows what he's thinking. Don't interrupt me with your nonsense."
Shan Shenping chuckled upon hearing this, flicked his spiky stick behind him, and whispered, "They're everywhere on the mountain."
But there wasn't a single set of locks, and it was still tied to this ginseng tree. What to do? Sheng Xi'an searched everywhere, but couldn't find any suitable household items.
While munching on the ginseng, Shan Shenping recalled the words his master had said when he followed him back down the mountain.
Upon closer inspection, wow, what a tiny ginseng seed! Judging by that ginseng seed, the treasure underneath must be huge too.
The three men were completely dumbfounded.
Shan Shen'an was startled and immediately shouted, "Pheasant!" With that, Shan Shen'an threw down his stick and pounced on the pheasant.
Shan Shenping had been married for a few months, and the belt around my waist was made of red cloth.
Shan Shenping carefully followed the stem upwards, parting the turf and soil, gently digging away the soil bit by bit.
Liu Changde's skills were passed down from my father-in-law, Qin Bapao. The older generation lived outside the mountains their whole lives and didn't know any of the tricks of the trade that people in the village knew.
Sheng Xi'an was extremely disappointed and hurriedly looked up to find something to cover the seven-leafed bud behind her eyes.
Sheng Xi'an waved to his seventh son and said loudly.
Upon hearing Sheng Xi'an say to get the food, Shan Shenping breathed a sigh of relief and stopped what he was doing, then plopped down on the ground.
Although there was no sun shining outside the woods, the weather was still quite cold at that time.
Then, the eight men heard Shan Shenping shout in a low voice, "Club."
And so, the seven men each performed their duties and did their own thing.
There were seven of us men, and apart from those from Shanshenping Village, we were all just starting out. Who else had that kind of luck?
Tang Yanping was exhausted after working all afternoon.
Suddenly, as if remembering something, Shan Shenping, who was also concerned about such matters, hurriedly stood up from the ground.
When he saw Shengxi's orientation, Shanshenping even turned his head to look in that direction.
Looking up from the ginseng seed, Shan Shenping saw a bluish-purple stem with eight branches, each bearing eight palmate compound leaves.
"What grade of leaf?" Sheng Xi'an, being young and inexperienced, quickly regained his composure and hurriedly accepted the challenge.
You can see that the lower half of the reed bowl is very smooth, but by the upper half, the reed bowl is almost completely obscured. This is because it has been around for so long that it hasn't been flattened yet.
The work team had no work to do, so they were busy dismantling timber and delivering firewood to the Zhou family. They also took care of the green plants. Shan Shenping was able to find time to come back and check on them.
Later, when I went down the mountain, I heard my master say that I was getting old and shouldn't be thinking about things outside my mind.
Shanshen Anna Qi Lengzi saw the pheasant and started shouting, then rushed towards it.
Yesterday, this seedling was a ginseng that had undergone a transformation, and today we encountered another seedling with eight leaves.
Just as Shan Shenping was about to speak but didn't know how to say it, he suddenly heard Tang Yan'an cry out, and his younger brother suddenly appeared behind him.
Holding a pancake in his hand, he walked in the direction I was looking at, muttering something under his breath as he walked.
Shanshen Kang was very agile. He squatted down next to his older brother and watched him carry the ginseng. Every now and then, he would wipe the sweat from his brother's forehead with his sleeve.
In comparison, Lao Ba was more clever and tactful. Since the path of taking the lower-level exam was viable, I immediately chose my own path, which was to get stuck in a rut.
Tang Yanfeng glanced at her watch and told her son to stop and come up to rest.
"I suddenly remembered something, tried looking for it, and then I actually found it."
Surrounded by lush green weeds and shrubs, this seven-leaf ginseng plant stood out with a bright red ginseng seed atop its top and a red cloth tied to its stem.
As he gently lifted the ginseng, he instructed his younger brothers to look around and not to gossip to the children behind him.
If they can find a club, that's fine; who cares how they found it?
Shan Shen'an knew all too well that he had said the wrong thing, but since the young man had given the order, they had to do as he said.
For example, if you see mushrooms, you have to pick up all the mushrooms in that patch; even if you see a snake, you have to catch it.
Shan Shenping glanced at his younger brother, "Go forward, if you're good at talking, then talk more, but don't talk nonsense."
If you encounter a ginseng, first shout a little to startle it, then tie it with a red rope and it will run away.
There are no set rules for hiking. During the hike, you can talk and shout as you please, unless you see a club. Otherwise, if you shout, you must take what you see with you.
