There must have been dozens of them, big and small, with some hoof prints that were particularly large, almost the size of a small bowl.
"Xiping, that's a huge herd of wild boars! No wonder Erlang Shen kept shouting earlier."

Sheng Xiping glanced at the mountain in front of him and nodded.
The group found a place to sit down and rest for a while. They had brought dry food and hot water with them when they left, and it was still warm. Each person took a bite of the dry food and a sip of water.
Sheng Xiping even broke off a piece of bread and fed the dogs a few bites. They didn't know how the next barn was doing, so they all needed to conserve their energy.
After resting for a while, the group continued on their way.
After crossing the ridge ahead, Erlang Shen twitched his nose, suddenly sensing something was wrong, and began to bark.
Sheng Xiping's expression hardened, and he immediately loosened the rope and released Erlang Shen.
Then, Erlang Shen dashed out like an arrow, shouting as he ran.
"Jianshe, unleash the dogs!" Sheng Xiping shouted.
The others immediately untied the ropes from the dogs' necks, and then the remaining eight dogs followed Erlang Shen, charging forward with all four hooves.
"Quick, chase after it!" Sheng Xiping shouted, and strode forward to catch up with the dog.
