The third day of the Lunar New Year is the day when married women return to their parents' home.

Jiang Yanbin also called, saying that he and his parents would come to Songjianghe on the third day of the Lunar New Year to meet and discuss the marriage.

Wu Yucheng and Sheng Yunfei each held a child in their arms, while Jiang Yanbin carried several backpacks on his back and shoulders.
It's obvious they met on the road, and Jiang Yanbin was helping Wu Yucheng and the others carry their things.
"Big brother, second brother, third brother."
Wu Yucheng and the others were carrying children, so they couldn't squeeze in with the others and could only walk at the back. They finally managed to get out and greet Sheng Xiping and the others.

Jiang Yanbin's parents had learned something about the Sheng family before they came.
I know that Sheng Yunfang's eldest brother is a businessman and quite wealthy. Her second and third brothers are both graduates of prestigious universities in China and have very good jobs.
I also have a brother-in-law who is in business; his family has quite a background in the capital.
Originally, the couple were a little unsure after hearing what their son said.
