Chapter 175 As if possessed

Chapter 175 As if possessed

Although Jin Hongge was puzzled and even felt a little uneasy, her hands moved with unwavering determination. She grabbed a chicken with one hand, a rabbit with the other, and even sent a dung beetle flying with her knee.

After knocking out the chickens and rabbits, he continued to catch the dazed animals. Soon, Jin Hongshuang and Lin Sumei heard the commotion and ran over.

"My God, so much prey!"

Jin Hongshuang's eyes lit up, and she instinctively pounced to grab the pheasant. The pheasant, as if it had taken drugs, became dizzy and died instantly.

Jin Hongshuang excitedly shouted, "Mom, come quick! I caught a pheasant!"

Lin Sumei suppressed her shock and quickly stepped forward to help her daughter: "You silly girl, why are you shouting so loudly? Aren't you afraid others won't hear you?"

Jin Hongshuang chuckled through her teeth, her eyes narrowing into slits as she watched her brother knock out another silly dog.

Meat! This is all meat! We're going to have a good winter this year!

Jin Hongge was also overjoyed, after all, being able to improve the family's meals was the best thing ever.

However, this joy did not last long, because he was surprised to find that the number of animals gathering around was increasing at an astonishing rate.

These animals seemed to have lost their minds, charging at him frantically. They ran recklessly, completely ignoring the gruesome sight of their companions whose necks he had broken, and continued to rush forward without hesitation.

The scene was so bizarre that Jin Hongge couldn't help but feel a chill run down her spine.

This...this is like being possessed!

Jin Hongge felt increasingly uneasy as he thought about it. He dared not be greedy, so he hid the two dumb roe deer that he had already knocked unconscious behind the bushes, and then put the rest of the prey into the basket, covering it completely with firewood.

After doing all this, Jin Hongge didn't dare to delay for a moment. She pulled up her sister, who was still immersed in excitement, and urged her to leave this place quickly.

If he were alone, he might choose to take the risk and try to catch more prey, but now that his mother and sister were here, he couldn't let them be in any danger.

"Mom, something's wrong, let's go back right away."

Lin Sumei also noticed that these animals were not normal, and without saying a word, she picked up her basket and followed them.

Unfortunately, Little Flower is not a soft-hearted plant.

It also sprinkled spiritual spring water on their path, even more than it had done before, attracting more and larger animals.

Jin Hongge had his sister and mother walk in front while he brought up the rear to prevent any animal attacks, but he didn't expect that the real show was yet to come.

Jin Hongshuang walked at the front, her mind filled with thoughts of the animals she had abandoned. It was such a pity; if they could have taken them all home, she could have eaten meat to her heart's content every day. She was so engrossed in her thoughts that she didn't notice a wild boar rooting in the ground ahead of her.

Jin Hongge was the first to spot the wild boar. His pupils constricted sharply as he shouted, "Hongshuang, watch out!"

Jin Hongshuang was startled and stumbled to the ground, spilling many chestnuts from her basket. To make matters worse, her face landed directly on the wild boar's rump.

"Ugh, it stinks!"

Jin Hongshuang covered her mouth and nose and backed away. Jin Hongge took the opportunity to pounce on her and pull her back. He stared intently at the wild boar, afraid that it would suddenly attack and hurt people. However, the boar didn't care about its rear end at all. It just liked to root around in the mud at its feet. Anyone who didn't know better would think that it had fallen into the mud.

Jin Hongge breathed a sigh of relief. Ignoring the chestnuts on the ground, he pulled his sister and mother to retreat to a safer spot. Then he realized that in such a short time, a large group of animals had gathered around them.
