Su Qiushi's face turned red again. Yi Lele's words made no mistake, and he had no way to refute them.
Su Ruyi pondered for a moment: "Lele, do you really want to learn, or is this just a passing fancy?"
Yilele nodded vigorously: "Of course I really want to learn! I swear to the leader! I once swore that whoever cured my illness, I would become his apprentice, otherwise I would never believe in medicine for the rest of my life."
Su Ruyi thought for a moment: "Even so, I can make an exception and give you a spot, but you have to pass the exam first."
Yi Lele was overjoyed: "Great! I'll take the test right now. I do have some basic knowledge!"
Su Qiushi scoffed: "Where did you get your foundation from?"
Yi Lele said with a bitter face, "I've become a doctor through long illness! My intractable disease has been going on for so many years, I've worn out all the medical books in the house!"
They'll give you the test whenever they want.
Yi Lele took the exam paper and started working on it, handing it in less than half an hour.
Looking at her delicate handwriting, Su Ruyi realized that the girl hadn't lied; she did have some basic knowledge, but only... some basic knowledge.
Yi Lele sidled up to Su Ruyi and asked, "Sister Ruyi, can I become your apprentice? Did I pass the test?"
Su Ruyi nodded: "You've passed, but this training course is full-time, so you'll have to stay here for at least three months."
Yi Lele was overjoyed and twisted her body, pouting, "Great, sister! I want to live with you! Okay? I just saw it... there's an empty room, isn't there?"
Her hand pointed to an empty room in the yard.
