After finally arriving at the destination, Yu Xiangyang couldn't wait to pick up the fishing rod and prepare to show off his skills.
The little guy didn't know how to fish at all. He just casually swung the fishing rod by the pond on the shore, throwing the bait into the water from time to time and watching them slowly sink.
Before long, Yu Xiangyang began to feel bored.
So he dropped his fishing rod and ran to play with the other children who came to fish.
He and several other children chased each other, and sometimes squatted down to pick up small stones on the shore, and then threw them into the water with force, causing ripples.
He Qing felt that as long as Yu Xiangyang had fun, he could play however he wanted.
She chose a shady place and sat on a bench by the pond with other parents who came to play, happily chatting about family matters.
Suddenly, a terrified scream broke the silence.
"Someone fell into the water, hurry up and save him."
A child yelled in panic.
He Qing and several other parents were instantly awakened from their idle chat, and their eyes quickly turned to the pond.
Yu Xiangyang's head appeared and disappeared on the water surface, and his little hands were struggling on the water surface.
He Qing's heart sank suddenly. She immediately stood up and rushed to the pond desperately.
She jumped into the water without hesitation, without even taking off her clothes and shoes.
Water splashed everywhere as she swam hard towards Yu Xiangyang.
The parents around also took action. Some were nervously preparing to respond on the shore, while others quickly picked up long poles to try to help He Qing.
He Qing swam hard to Yu Xiangyang, picked him up and held him tightly in his arms.
Yu Xiangyang's body was limp and he had no strength at all.
He Qing was extremely anxious and called out Yu Xiangyang's name, hoping that he would respond.
However, Yu Xiangyang did not react at all. His face was as pale as a piece of white paper, and his eyes were closed, as if he had lost all signs of life.
He Qing's tears instantly welled up in her eyes. She was so frightened by Yu Xiangyang's appearance that her legs went weak and her hands trembled uncontrollably.
She had never experienced anything like this before and was filled with fear and helplessness.
At this moment, a staff member of the fishing ground jumped into the water and swam over quickly.
He skillfully assisted He Qing in swimming Yu Xiangyang to the edge of the pond.
With the joint efforts of the two, they finally reached the shore safely.
Other parents lent a helping hand and helped He Qing and Yu Xiangyang get ashore.
After getting ashore, the staff at the fishing ground immediately launched an emergency rescue for Xiangyang.
He Qing's clothes were soaked and her hair stuck to her face, but she didn't bother to tidy herself up. Instead, she stared at Yu Xiangyang closely, fearing that he would be hurt again.
The staff at the fishing ground skillfully pressed on Yu Xiangyang's chest and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
The other parents gathered together, watching the scene nervously, silently praying for a miracle to happen.
After some effort, Yu Xiangyang finally spat out some water and his breathing gradually stabilized.
His eyes trembled slightly and slowly opened, his eyes full of confusion and bewilderment.
Seeing Yu Xiangyang regain consciousness, He Qing was so excited that tears filled her eyes. She hugged Yu Xiangyang tightly, feeling his body temperature, her heart filled with joy and relief.
Other staff at the fishing ground quickly arrived and arranged for the mother and child to be sent to a nearby hospital for examination and treatment.
The doctor carefully conducted a comprehensive examination on Xiangyang and finally determined that he was not seriously injured but was just frightened.
He Qing breathed a sigh of relief after hearing the news, but his heart was still filled with fear.
He Qing took Yu Xiangyang back home with lingering fear.
Yu Bing had just returned home from a business trip, but found the house empty.
He guessed that He Qing might have taken Yu Xiangyang out to play, so he sat on the sofa and read the newspaper and waited.
However, when he saw He Qing and Yu Xiangyang, who were in a dishevel, walking into the house, he hurriedly went to take Yu Xiangyang and asked with concern what had happened.
When He Qing saw Yu Bing coming back, she could no longer suppress her inner fear and grievance and burst into tears.
Yu Bing did not rush to ask further questions, but asked the two to take a hot bath and change into clean clothes first.
After the two of them had finished packing, Yu Bing asked softly, "What happened to you?"
He Qing took a deep breath, tried to calm down, and then told Yu Bing the whole incident.
She still feels heavy when she recalls the scene.
Especially when she thought of the moment when Yu Xiangyang fell into the water, her heart still couldn't help but beat faster.
Yu Bing listened quietly, his eyes revealing heartache and worry.
Ever since Yu Xiangyang was fished out of the pond, he has remained silent, neither crying nor making a fuss.
He snuggled tightly in He Qing's arms, seemingly still immersed in the horrific experience he had just had.
He Qing originally thought that the child was too frightened to speak, but what happened next was beyond her expectations.
He Qing and Yu Bing noticed that Yu Xiangyang looked strange.
Yu Xiangyang sat on the sofa like a puppet with empty eyes. No matter what was said to him, he didn't respond at all.
I gave him water and food, but he wouldn't eat or drink.
This made Yu Bing and He Qing very anxious.
They didn't know what happened to Yu Xiangyang, so they could only keep calling his name, but got no response.
In desperation, Yu Bing and He Qing decided to take Yu Xiangyang back to the hospital again.
They were extremely anxious along the way. After arriving at the hospital, the doctors immediately conducted a comprehensive examination on Xiangyang.
