Chapter 24 Don’t Swim Any Further

In the afternoon, when Su Muxi woke up and walked out of the room.

Su Mujing was writing quietly in the yard.

Su Muli was chasing the big rooster in the yard.

Look at Su Muxi coming out.

Su Muli came over immediately.

"Little sister, how come you can sleep so well? I've been waiting for you for a long time."

"Let's go to the river and catch some fish."

Hearing this, Su Mujing quickly put down the pen in his hand and reminded him.

"Mu Li, don't forget to tell your mother before you go out."

Su Muli then realized that Du Wan had repeatedly emphasized today that he must tell the adults at home before going out to play in the future.

So he rushed to the backyard like a gust of wind and ran back as fast as he could.

"I've already told Mom, let's go."

The three brothers and sisters held hands and happily walked to the river.

Many people have come here.

However, the older children were still in class at this time, so they were all younger children.

Most of the children gathered in the shallow water to play water fights and skip stones across the water.

Occasionally, a few brave children would swim into deeper waters.

For example, Su Muli.

As soon as he reached the water's edge, he couldn't wait to take off his shoes and shirt, jump into the river, and swim towards the deep water.

Su Muxi looked at the slowly flowing river, and a sense of uneasiness inexplicably arose in her heart.

Su Muxi hurriedly shouted: "Second brother, come back quickly, the water over there is too deep, it's dangerous, don't swim forward anymore."

But at this time, Su Muli was like a wild horse that had broken free from its reins and could not be stopped at all.

Instead, he urged, "Brother, come down quickly, the water is so cool."

Su Mujing saw that Su Muxi was still not going into the water, so he was also surprised: "Little sister, don't you usually love playing in the water? Why don't you go in?"

Su Muxi once again turned her gaze towards the river that made her feel uneasy.

Then he looked up and said, "Brother, how about we not play in the water today and go do something else?"

Su Mujing didn't hesitate at all and immediately replied: "Okay, then what do you want to play?"

Su Muxi pointed at Su Muli in the water.

He said anxiously, "Let's call our second brother up first, and then we can go play something else together."

However, Su Muli was having a lot of fun at this time and had no intention of going ashore.

Su Muxi stared at the water surface, which was becoming increasingly abnormal, and became increasingly uneasy.

She raised her voice and yelled, "Second brother, come up quickly, or I won't like you anymore."

Su Muli saw that Su Muxi was indeed unhappy.

Although he felt a little disappointed, he slowly turned around and swam towards the shore.

"Okay, little sister, don't be angry, I'll be back soon."

But just after swimming back a few steps, Su Muli's feet suddenly tightened, as if something was secretly pulling his feet hard.

Immediately afterwards, Su Muli lost his balance and fell into the water, struggling desperately and calling for help.

At the same time, another child nearby inexplicably fell into the water and began to struggle violently.

The other children around were all frightened by this sudden change. Without thinking too much, they rushed towards the shore.

Seeing the two people gradually sinking into the water, Su Muxi was extremely anxious.

She called out to the older children around her, "Hurry up and find some long sticks. Hurry up."

Then she pointed at the other children and said, "Go and call the adults nearby for help immediately!"

The frightened children finally came to their senses and acted separately according to Su Muxi's instructions.

Although Su Muxi can swim, she is only a three-year-old child.

She weighed the pros and cons in her mind and felt that she would not be able to rescue the people by herself.

She lowered her head and whispered to the jade pendant, "Master, Master, please help me think of a solution."

But no sound came from the jade token.

Su Muxi looked at Su Muli who was gradually sinking. She gritted her teeth and didn't care about anything else and rushed straight into the river.

She swung her arms vigorously and came to Su Muli.

She hugged Su Muli tightly from behind and began to swim hard towards the shore.

But Su Muli sank like a big stone.

No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't swim.

Instead, she was carried underwater.

Gradually, she felt her head become extremely heavy and her vision began to blur.

Finally, she slowly closed her eyes.

Su Muxi was unwilling to give up. She had only joined this warm family for less than a day.

She hadn't had time to feel the beauty of life before she had to face separation again.

Just then a golden light flashed in the water.

Su Muxi felt her body lighten, as if a force was dragging her toward the surface of the water.

The originally groggy mind gradually regained clarity.

She opened her eyes and saw golden light emanating from all over her body.

Without thinking too much, she hugged Su Muli tightly and swam towards the shallow water with all her strength.

At this time, Su Mujing and a few other children were picking up sticks.

Seeing Su Muxi go into the water, he threw away the wooden stick in his hand and ran into the river.

When he ran into the river, Su Muxi had just swam to the shallow water.

He quickly stepped forward and helped Su Muxi drag Su Muli to the shore.

The other children who found the sticks are working together to save another child.

Su Muxi was about to swim back to help, but was stopped by Su Mujing.

"Keep an eye on Mu Li, I'll go."

Without hesitation, he swam over quickly.

Su Muxi leaned over to carefully check Su Muli's condition.

Su Muli had already lost consciousness and was breathing weakly.
