Du Qi'an brought Su Muxi to the ward on the third floor. While Xie Ning and Du Wan were having dinner, Du Qi'an made an excuse to go to the doctor's office. He told the doctor that he would discharge Du Lei later.
Because of Du Lei's identity, since his family wanted to discharge him from the hospital, the doctor issued a discharge certificate without hesitation.
Du Qi'an took the discharge certificate to the nurse's station and agreed with the nurse on duty that he would go out to do something and take Du Lei out of the hospital when he came back.
The nurses also agreed happily.
After everything was arranged, he returned to the ward with peace of mind and gave Du Wan a look.
After receiving Du Qian's signal, Du Wan saw that the time was almost up, so she pretended to be indifferent and mentioned her elder brother Du Qi's house.
"Mom, my eldest brother and sister-in-law are not at home, and I don't know how Fanfan is doing at home. You said that now that I'm back, should I go see Fanfan?"
Upon hearing this, Xie Ning nodded slightly to show his agreement.
"Yes, you haven't been back for all these years, so it's time to go visit. So, let Qi An take you to buy some things for Fanfan. Don't come to the hospital early tomorrow morning. Let Qi An take you to your eldest brother's house. You can go see Fanfan before coming back."

"Mom, tomorrow is Thursday and Fanfan still has to go to school."

She then thought of another idea.
"How about this, let's take Fanfan over to play for a couple of days on the weekend. It'll be a good opportunity for him to get acquainted with Xiaoxi and the other two."

Xie Ning thought about it while arranging the things that needed to be bought.
Du Qi'an and Du Wan looked at each other, and Du Qi'an took over.
"Mom, the final exams are almost here. Will having Fanfan come over affect his studies?"
"If you ask me, I'd rather just go now and have dinner with him after Fanfan gets out of school. It won't affect anything."
"When Fanfan is on summer vacation, I'll bring him over to stay for a while. It'll also allow Fanfan's grandma to have some rest."
After saying that, Du Qian looked at Du Wan.
"What do you think, second sister?"
Du Wan agreed.
"Mom, I think Qi An is right. I'll go take a look first and then pick him up when Fanfan is on vacation."
After listening to this, Xie Ning thought it made sense and began to think about the specific arrangements.
As she thought about it, she muttered to herself, "Well, yes, let's do it this way. Go buy some of Fanfan's favorite food, and then prepare some gifts for him..."
Du Wan looked at Xie Ning with some embarrassment.

Before Xie Ning could express her opinion, Du Qi'an quickly said, "Mom, Xiaoxi and I can stay here with Dad. You don't have to worry about him in the hospital."
Xie Ning looked at Du Qian, smiled helplessly, and stretched out his finger to gently poke Du Wan's forehead.
"You, you're already such a grown-up, but why are you still acting like a child? You still need me to accompany you for such a small matter."
Du Wan coquettishly put her arm around Xie Ning and shook it.
"That's because I'm back with you. I just can't grow up in front of you."
Xie Ning rolled his eyes at her in reproach and said, "Alright, alright, if you want to go, then hurry up and go."
Du Qian originally wanted to send the two of them there, but Xie Ning said that the hospital would be in trouble if there were no one there in case something happened, so he asked him to stay.
As soon as the two left, Du Qi'an immediately called a nurse for help and carefully lifted Du Lei into the car.
When they arrived at the door of the house, Du Qi'an quickly put Du Lei on the wheelchair and pushed him into the house.
Su Muxi calmly directed Du Qian to place Du Lei in the center of the formation drawn in the morning.
Standing outside the formation, looking at Du Lei lying quietly, Du Qian asked with a little concern.
"Xiao Xi, we came back much earlier than expected. Does this affect you? What should we do next?"
Su Muxi took out the talisman paper from her bag and said, "We originally planned to do it at night because we thought no one would disturb us at night. It's the same now that we've done it earlier. You just need to guard outside and don't let anyone in."
After saying that, Su Muxi handed the defensive talisman in her hand to Du Qian.
"You can keep these defensive charms. Don't come in until I call you."
Du Qi'an took the talisman paper nervously and nodded in response, "Okay, I'll go guard outside now."
He turned around and was about to leave when Su Muxi suddenly called him again and added, "Uncle, if you hear any noise coming from inside, don't panic."

Du Qi'an nodded cautiously, "I will take good care of it. Grandpa is in your care now. Please be careful too."
After saying this, he walked towards the door, looking back every few steps.
As he was about to step out the door, he turned back again and stared deeply at the two people in the living room, one old and one young, one standing and one lying.
He pursed his lips as if he wanted to say something, but in the end he just closed his eyes silently and gently closed the door.
Seeing the door closed, Su Muxi sat quietly outside the magic circle, closed her eyes, adjusted her breathing, and let her mind gradually calm down.
About half an hour later, she suddenly opened her eyes, with a cold light flashing in them.
"Master, I'm ready." Su Muxi said softly.
