Su Muli patted his chest and made the promise.
"A man's word is his bond. Uncle, don't worry."
Du Qi'an laughed heartily.
Su Mujing was a little sad.
"Mu Li, everyone in my family has one, why don't you buy one for me?"
Su Muli blinked his innocent eyes, with a hint of cunning in them.
"Didn't you just say you wanted to buy your own car? If I buy you another car, wouldn't that be an extra one? We should save money. Isn't it a waste to buy so many cars?"
Su Mujing seemed to think that what Su Muli said made sense.
"Well, then you don't have to buy it for me."
Su Muxi kept complaining in her heart: Men’s words are lies.
Su Muli is so young, but he can still tell nonsense to make people happy. He paints one rosy picture after another. I wonder how many girls he will deceive when he grows up.
Arriving at the military compound, Du Qian parked the car in front of a three-story building.
Afterwards, everyone got off the bus, picked up their luggage and walked into the gate.
Lin Yuexia, who was at home, heard the noise and hurried out.
When she saw Du Wan walking among the group of people, she ran over excitedly.
When Du Wan was a child, Lin Yuexia had been working in their family. Unexpectedly, she was still there after so many years.
"Second Miss, Second Miss is back."
When Du Wan saw Lin Yuexia, she quickly stepped forward and held her hand tightly.
"Auntie Lin, long time no see!"
Lin Yuexia took the bag from Du Wan's hand and looked at her skin which was much darker than before, her eyes full of heartache.
"Second Miss, you are finally back. Madam has missed you so much these years."
As she spoke, Lin Yuexia's eyes turned slightly red involuntarily.
Du Wan gently held her arm and shook it coquettishly.
"Auntie Lin, I'm going to stay a little longer this time. Can you make me my favorite big buns?"
When Lin Yuexia heard this, her expression changed from sadness to joy.
"Okay, Miss, as long as you like it, I will make it for you every day."
Lin Yuexia had met Su Aiguo once before. After she greeted him politely, she turned her gaze to the three children who were following behind her and looking around curiously.
Du Wan turned around and waved to Su Muxi and the other two.
"Come, come here quickly, this is Grandma Lin."
The three of them stood in a row and greeted each other in unison.
"Hello, Grandma Lin."
Seeing this, Lin Yuexia's eyebrows and eyes curved with smile, and even the wrinkles at the corners of her eyes seemed to be filled with joy.
She bent down and touched the little heads of the three children one by one.
"Hello, hello, you all look so well-behaved."
Several people walked in together while talking.
On the left side of the yard is a grape trellis, with a stone table and a lounge chair underneath. Beside it are dozens of neatly arranged potted flowers, and there are no dead leaves in any of the pots, which shows that the owner is very attentive to these flowers and plants.
There is a jujube tree planted on the right side of the yard, which is now full of small green fruits.
Walk along the path in the middle of the yard and you will enter the room directly.
Although this courtyard is well-maintained, it can be seen that the layout here has not been adjusted by a feng shui master.
Su Muxi looked at the evil aura that kept coming out of the house and felt puzzled.
It was normal that Du Qi'an had no evil spirit on him because he had the talisman paper she gave him, but it was a bit strange that Xie Ning and Lin Yuexia lived in the house and had no evil spirit on them at all.
Su Muxi followed everyone into the house calmly.
Entering the living room on the first floor, Du Wan looked at the house which had not changed much from when she left, and felt deeply moved.
"Second sister, look, this is the character for "人" you carved on the dining table with a knife when you were a child. Do you remember it?"
Du Qian pulled Du Wan to the dining table.
Du Wan reached out and gently stroked the dining table, which was a little old and had some paint peeling off.
A hint of nostalgia and emotion appeared on her face.
"When Mom found out, you actually used me as a shield, causing Mom to deduct my pocket money for a week."
Du Qian thought of the scene at that time and seemed to still feel a little indignant.
The scene at that time also emerged in Du Wan's mind. Thinking of Du Qian'an's aggrieved and sad look at that time, she couldn't help laughing.
"Didn't I give you half of my pocket money?"
A few of them talked and recalled the past, some happy and some naughty, all the way to the third floor.
"Second Miss, your previous room has been converted into your father's study, so I have to ask you to live on the third floor."
"Although these three rooms on the third floor have always been empty, I usually clean them every once in a while, so they are quite clean."
"I'll put two more mattresses for you later. I'm sure you'll be comfortable."
Lin Yuexia said as she opened the door.
As the door slowly opened, bright sunlight poured into the room, making the whole room bright and warm.
Du Wan came to the window and just happened to see the scenery downstairs.
"Auntie Lin, the room is nice, let's stay here."
Lin Yuexia opened the doors of the other two rooms. Du Wan originally wanted to let the three children live together, but finally thought that since the room was empty, she might as well let Su Muxi live there alone.
"Qian, these three rooms upstairs, your brother-in-law and I will have one, Xiaoxi will have one, and Muli and Mujing will have one. Is that okay?"
"Second sister, of course there's no problem. This is your home, you can live wherever you want."
"It's just that there are no beds in the two rooms over there. I'm going out to buy two beds now."
Su Aiguo moved the luggage into the room and heard Du Qi'an was going to buy a bed, so he called Du Qi'an.
"Qian, wait a moment, I'll go with you."
