Chapter 105 You Are a Tender Grass

Du Ruo was startled by the footsteps behind her. She looked up at Yuan Tingchuan, but the man didn't even frown.

He stopped looking at Du Ruo and took out a box of cigarettes and a lighter from his trouser pocket. His slender and strong fingers tapped the bottom of the cigarette box twice. A cigarette fell on his fingertips. With a "ding" sound, the lid of the lighter popped open and a cluster of flames danced on the man's fingertips.

The hurried footsteps were getting closer and closer, but everyone seemed to be unaware of it. Du Ruo secretly glanced at the man. Yuan Tingchuan's face was expressionless, as if he really came to enjoy the scenery.

Seeing Du Ruo secretly looking at him, a hint of coldness flashed across Yuan Tingchuan's face again. Du Ruo knew that the boss was irritated by him, so he stopped making trouble for himself and lowered his head to pretend to appreciate the grass leaves in his palm.

In the blink of an eye, a large group of people came up to them. The leader was a middle-aged man with a pointed chin and monkey cheeks. The first person he saw was Yuan Tingchuan standing there smoking. Among all the people, he had the most imposing aura and was hard to ignore.

He looked at the flickering fire at the corners of Yuan Tingchuan's mouth, his eyes flashing, and he said in a gentle tone: "What's your name, sir? You look unfamiliar. You are not from here, are you? I wonder what brings you to this remote place?"

Yuan Tingchuan acted as if he hadn't heard him. He said to Du Ruo in a cold tone, "What? Still not satisfied with sitting on the ground? Are you going to sit here forever?"

Du Ruo whispered, "If I could get up, would you tell me? I sprained my ankle and it's swollen. I really can't get up."

Yuan Tingchuan sneered, "Boss Du is so powerful and resourceful, how could he suffer such a loss? Forgive my shortsightedness, but I didn't notice Boss Du was injured. Either you leave on your own, or you stay. They're looking for you."

Du Ruo said innocently, "Why are you looking for me? I'm just a weak woman. I didn't kill anyone or set any fire. How could I possibly dig up someone's ancestral grave?"

A hint of smile flashed across Yuan Tingchuan's eyes, and he said coldly, "Even if it's dug up, it doesn't matter. Who made their descendants so unmotivated and blind?"

The sharp-nosed, monkey-faced man flew into a rage. Who was he looking down upon? He dared to say he wanted to dig up his family's ancestral graves right in front of him? Even a powerful dragon wouldn't crush a local snake.

The man measured the number of people on both sides and it was obvious that his side had the upper hand. He had been intimidated by Yuan Tingchuan's aura before, but now that he had come to his senses, he was not afraid of him!

No matter how much you talk, it's not as good as a real fight. The man with the pointed face and monkey cheeks waved his hand: "Brothers, go ahead and teach them a lesson. Even if you have a mouth under your nose, don't talk nonsense."

The expected battle did not happen. A group of rabble were no match for Yuan Tingchuan's men.

The bodyguards following Yuan Tingchuan were all those who had been with him in northern Myanmar in the past few years. They had survived complicated situations and had escaped death. Every time they attacked, they risked their lives, and almost every shot they made hit the target.

In the blink of an eye, the winner was decided. The Yuan family's bodyguards tied up these people. Yuan Tingchuan didn't even look at them. He said to Du Ruo, "I don't care whether Mr. Du leaves or not. I'm leaving now. You stay and enjoy the scenery."

After he said that, he really didn't look at Du Ruo again. He threw the cigarette on the ground, extinguished it with his toes, turned around and walked down the mountain.

Du Ruo was dumbfounded. Was this boss really leaving? What should she do? She glanced at the sky, rubbed her swollen ankle, and wondered, "What if I just waited a while?"

Since the boss has taken the pursuers away, it's okay for her to sit here alone for a while, right?

Du Ruo was lamenting her miserable life when a shadow fell over her head. Before she could even look up, she felt dizzy. She was roughly carried on someone's shoulders, and her stomach was churning. Fortunately, there was nothing in her stomach, otherwise she would have vomited.

Du Ruo felt a surge of acid in her stomach and was afraid that she would vomit on the boss's shoulder, so she struggled slightly.

She felt like someone slapped her buttocks twice. The slaps were so hard that Du Ruo's face turned red.

A man's deep voice came from my ear: "If you don't behave, I'll throw you to the wolves. But you're so ugly, I guess the wolves won't want to eat you."

Du Ruo…………

Everyone got into the car at the foot of the mountain. Du Ruo collapsed in the seat, her stomach churning, her brain dazed from lack of oxygen. Damn Yuan Tingchuan...

She discovered that ever since returning from northern Myanmar, this big shot had ceased to hide his bad personality, revealing his hidden bad qualities to the fullest. A noble son of a prominent family? Pah!

Yuan Tingchuan sat on the other side with his legs crossed, his tone chilling, "I can't work for nothing, right? Mr. Du, do you have anything to repay me?"

Du Ruo wanted to say, I didn’t ask you to save me?

Looking out the window at the deserted village and the wild shop, she was really afraid that the boss would abandon her out of the car. If it was Yuan Tingchuan when she first met him, Du Ruo would not be afraid at all. At that time, the boss was disguised as a human being and was still reliable in doing things.

Now? She didn't dare to bet on it. This big guy would go crazy at any time and might really dare to throw her down.

Du Ruo smiled flatteringly: "Don't they say that if someone saves your life, you should repay them with your body? How about you take a look?"

Yuan Tingchuan grabbed her arm without any gentleness and pushed her forward. Looking through the rearview mirror, he said in a cold voice, "Look at the awful state you're in. Are you willing to give yourself to me? Do you have the wherewithal?"

Du Ruo was about to retort when he looked up and saw himself in the rearview mirror. His hair was disheveled, his body was dirty, and his face was black and white. Uh...

Yuan Tingchuan's mocking voice came from my ears: "Are you sure you still want to pledge your love to me?"

Du Ruo's old face couldn't help but blush, a little embarrassed, and said, "Don't you men always say that old cows still eat young grass? I can't do it if it's me. If you can't do it, I will." Isn't it just a rogue? As if everyone can't do it.

Yuan Tingchuan gritted his teeth: "You mean I'm that tender grass?"

Du Ruo blinked and said, "Your grass is hard, and it's indeed not very tender."

Yuan Tingchuan turned his head to look out the window. He felt that he must have gone crazy. He threw down a bunch of important things and ran up the mountain in the middle of the night to find this woman. His brain must have short-circuited.

Why did he think this woman was good before?

Du Ruo looked at the boss who was sulking and thought to herself, it's normal for two people to dislike each other. She felt inexplicably at ease. It turned out that this boss looked so hypocritical that it made her teeth ache just looking at him.

I used to be afraid of falling into a trap all the time, but now I am much more natural.

The car sped all the way back to the city center at noon and drove straight to the auction house.

Everyone entered the east wing from the side door of the auction house. This was Yuan Tingchuan's private territory.
