Chapter 9: If I make you angry, will you comfort me?

"Brother Biao, we agreed that we would make money together. It's been so long, it's not good to keep delaying the payment, right?"

At a roadside stall beside an alley in Guangzhou, a thin man with a crew cut, wearing flip-flops barefoot in the chilly autumn, with a cigarette in his mouth, frowned at the five or six men opposite him with an unhappy look on his face.

The man called Brother Biao had a hideous scar between his eyebrows. Upon hearing this, he put one leg on a bench beside him, fixed his eyes on the man with a crew cut, and said with a wry smile, "It's almost the New Year, and I'm short on money. How about next year?"

"New Year's Eve!" the crew-haired man spat, spitting out his cigarette. "You said that last year and you're saying it again this year! It's only November now, don't tell me whether it's New Year's Eve or not!"

Sang Biao was furious when he heard this and immediately slammed the table: "Chen Gang, who is your mother calling me father? Anyway, I don't have any money, but I have my life. If you have the guts, come and get it!"

"Damn it, you're really going to force me to do it, right?" Seeing Sang Biao refusing to pay, Chen Gang rolled up his sleeves, revealing his arms, which were only slightly thicker than a girl's. "I guess you won't cry until you see the coffin!"

After that, he waved his hand and said, "Come on!"

Although he only brought one person today, he was not afraid at all. After all, he had the support of the big boss. If he couldn't win, he would go to the big boss!

"Ah!" The younger brother behind him heard the shout and rushed forward without thinking, and then... he suddenly stopped.

The other party brought an iron rod and a knife.

Chen Gang was also confused: "Damn it!" He pointed at Brother Biao, "Your grandmother has no martial ethics!"

If he had known Sang Biao was so insidious, he would have brought a dozen of his brothers with him.

Sang Biao stood up and said, "Who the hell is going to talk to you about martial ethics? Fight!"

Chen Gang took off his slippers and gritted his teeth, "Damn it, I'll fight you!"

After that, a melee broke out.

However, ten minutes later, Chen Gang, who couldn't find his slippers anymore, was barefoot and grabbed his little brother: "Monkey, run! We can't beat... the boss!"

Ji Huaizhi slowly walked out from the shadows at one end of the alley, and swept his eyes over without any emotion. Although it was just a faint glance, as casual as ever, it revealed a sharp sense of oppression.

He raised his chin and said nonchalantly, "Sang Biao, are you touching my people?"

Sang Biao was momentarily intimidated by Ji Huaizhi's aura, but soon puffed out his chest again: "They provoked me first!"

"Okay." Ji Huaizhi chuckled and casually moved his neck. "Go aside and keep an eye on it."

Chen Gang and Monkey were instantly overwhelmed with pride: "Okay!"

Ji Huaizhi walked towards Sang Biao step by step, but made them step back step by step. They looked at each other in bewilderment. Sang Biao finally couldn't stand it any longer: "Look at you, all of you, come at me!"

Facing the several big men who swarmed towards him, Ji Huaizhi did not raise his eyebrows until they were about to rush to him, then he raised his foot sideways, dodging the attack and kicking the strong man who was nearly 1.8 meters tall to the ground. Then he suddenly swung his fist at the opposite side, his fist carrying the wind and whistling sound, each punch more brutal than the other, and the five people on the opposite side were knocked to the ground in an instant, leaving only Sang Biao standing there.

Sang Biao looked at his fallen brother, swallowed his saliva, and his brain worked rapidly, thinking about whether to pay back the money or fight to the end.

When he first partnered with Ji Huaizhi to haul goods, he was attracted by his connections and skills. He was responsible for providing the channels, and within a year or so, he made a fortune. Gradually, he began to be dissatisfied with such small profits and set his sights on gaining influence in Hong Kong. However, Ji Huaizhi's methods were too powerful. As soon as he established the connection, he was discovered. As a result, their cooperation ended, and the money for the last batch of goods was also lost.

"Ah, I'll fight you!" Sang Biao shouted to give himself courage, and swung his long sword to chop at Ji Huaizhi.

Ji Huaizhi ducked to avoid it, and the ends of his hair moved slightly, and a few strands of hair were cut off.

He looked at the black hair falling to the ground and said with a sigh, "You're responsible for comforting me if I hurt my face and made someone angry?"

Sang Biao: “Ah?”

Chen Gang and Monkey: "Hmm?"

Who are you trying to appease?

Who dares to be angry with Ji Huaizhi?

Ji Huaizhi patted the non-existent dust on his hands, a cold look between his brows, and said in a calm voice: "Clean it up carefully."

After saying that, he walked to the side, leaned against the wall, took out a cigarette from his trouser pocket, held it between his slender fingertips, lit it scarlet, and smoked it nonchalantly, exuding a ruffian spirit, as if he was not the one who made the harsh words.

Chen Gang immediately responded: "Got it, boss!"

Without the support of his younger brothers and with Ji Huaizhi in charge, Sang Biao felt depressed and was quickly defeated.

Chen Gang picked up the fallen steel rod and stepped on Sang Biao's face with his bare feet, causing Sang Biao, whose nose and face were swollen, to retch: "Ugh..."

Chen Gang's face darkened, and he poked Sang Biao's nose with his foot: "Old friend, are you going to pay me back?"

Sang Biao held his breath, his cheeks flushed: "I only have a little over a hundred on me, you can take it or not."

"Damn it!" Chen Gang had already poked half of his foot in: "You owe our boss so much money, and you want to use just over a hundred to get rid of us?"

"Ugh..." Sang Biao's face almost turned purple, "Then... two hundred?"

Money is like the cleavage of the woman he slept with last night. If he squeezes and borrows, he can still get some. But asking him to take out so much at once is so heartbreaking!

"Two hundred, you fucking bastard!" Monkey kicked him on the butt. "Brother Gang, why are you nagging him? Just do it!"

Sang Biao: “…”

So what they just did wasn't violence?

Chen Gang nodded: "That makes sense."

Then, there was another groan.
