"Boss, do you accept gold bars here?" Wei Sheng looked around nervously.
He observed the store for a few days; otherwise, he wouldn't have dared to bring gold bars there rashly.
This place is a bit remote, but it has a pretty good reputation.
"You have it?" The boss put on his glasses, a glint of shrewdness flashing in his eyes.
He looked at Wei Sheng as if trying to see right through him.
"Just tell me if you'll accept it or not," Wei Sheng said, putting one hand in his pocket to hide his nervousness.

Wei Sheng's heart was racing. 50 yuan per gram, 100 grams would cost 5000 yuan.
His eyes were filled with greed as he thought of the gold bars in the wardrobe and planned to go there again sometime that night.
“Okay.” Wei Sheng raised his voice, placed the gold bars on the table, and pushed them towards the shopkeeper.
His palms were sweating, his face was slightly pale, but he pretended to be calm as he waited for the boss to look at the gold bars, and then placed a small scale next to him.
The boss looked up at him, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.
He took out the large denomination bills from the drawer and slowly counted them, 50 bills per stack, for a total of 10 stacks.
"Count carefully, we are not responsible once you leave the counter," the boss said, squinting his eyes.
