Chapter 580 Competition

She said it was impossible several times.

Lin Ziyan glared at Lu Yunshen, her eyes seeming to say, "Explain yourself properly, or this isn't over."

“She is Abdu’s sister, Aslan.”

"This is my wife, Lin Ziyan, and these are my children," Lu Yunshen introduced simply.

He didn't give Aslan any chance; it was she who refused to give up her obsession.

Aslan looked betrayed, and he looked at Lu Yun Shen as if he were a heartless man.

If it weren't for the inappropriate occasion, Lin Ziyan would have almost burst out laughing.

If Lu Yun Shen truly had feelings for Aslan, he would have taken action long ago.

"Aslan, I told you long ago that we couldn't be together," Lu Yunshen said helplessly.

He glanced at Lin Ziyan and saw that she was trying hard to suppress the smile on her lips, and he breathed a sigh of relief.

"Can you ride a horse?" Aslan looked at Lin Ziyan and asked abruptly.

Lin Ziyan: "Yes, there will be a competition?"

"Let's make it clear first, I'll only compete if there's a prize involved."

Aslan's gaze was resolute. "Alright, the prize is a sheep. If I lose, I get a whole roasted lamb tonight. If you lose, you pay for the lamb."

Lin Ziyan raised an eyebrow and nodded in agreement. Anyway, she would get roasted lamb regardless of whether she won or lost, and if she won, she could eat it for free.

Lu Yunshen: "..."

So it's none of his business?

Mengmeng and Doudou clapped their hands on the sidelines; they loved watching the game.

At home, the little dumpling often competes with them.

Lu Yunshen frowned: "You really used to ride horses? Aslan grew up on horseback."

Lin Ziyan stretched her muscles, mounted the horse, and then laughed, "I learned this from riding oxen before."

Aslan gave her a deep look, his competitive spirit intensifying.

The two rode to the competition area first.

This horse farm is very well-organized, with a riding area and a hurdles competition area.

To meet the needs of different customers.

Lin Ziyan patted the saddle, her eyes sparkling, and looked up at the sun, which was too bright to look directly at, surrounded by a colorful halo.

Aslan pulled on the reins and looked at her: "You're barely good enough for Brother Lu."

"Bang!"

The starting gun fired.

“But I won’t give it to you,” Aslan roared.

Two horses galloped out.

Lin Ziyan didn't respond; she simply enjoyed the game.

She did ride cows before riding horses, but later her father took her to a horse farm to practice horseback riding and hired a professional coach to teach her.

She hadn't ridden in a long time, and when she was riding horses earlier, she wanted to try hurdling.

In the first challenge, both horses jumped over the hurdle at the same time, but Aslan quickly fell behind.

Lin Ziyan didn't turn her head to look at her, but out of the corner of her eye she saw the head of the horse next to her, so she spurred the horse forward.

The two horses galloped at the same time, kicking up dust.

"Mommy's up ahead!" Mengmeng clapped her hands and shouted excitedly.

Lu Yunshen's eyes followed Lin Ziyan's figure the whole time, he was even more nervous than her, afraid that she would fall off her horse.

At some point, Abudu came up to them and exclaimed, "Your wife must have studied horseback riding; she's very professional."

Lu Yunshen's gaze paused slightly, but he did not respond.

Aslan had been trailing Lin Ziyan by half a horse length, and just as he was about to overtake her, Lin Ziyan accelerated again, as if it were intentional.

Aslan didn't notice the finish line and kept chasing the figure in front of him.

She admitted that she had ulterior motives, wanting to compete with the woman in front of her using her best equestrian skills.

But her only skill was horseback riding, and she wanted to prove to Lu Yun Shen that she was more suited to it...

While she was lost in thought, Lin Ziyan had already crossed the finish line, winning by two horse lengths.

As the dust settled behind her, Lin Ziyan's carefree and unrestrained expression stunned Aslan.

As she dismounted, Lu Yun Shen immediately embraced her and kissed her intimately.

Aslan was unwilling to accept this and was so provoked by the scene before him that he threw down his whip and ran away crying.

Abudu watched his sister's departing figure and shook his head.

He didn't want to lose Lu Yunshen as a friend because of his sister.

"You made your sweetheart cry." Lin Ziyan smiled slyly, looking in the direction Aslan had left.

"I have no confidantes, only my wife." Lu Yun Shen hugged her tightly, unwilling to let go.

Watching her so graceful and carefree on horseback, he couldn't help but take many more photos.

Lin Ziyan's legs were hugged by two children whose eyes were shining as if they were sparkling.

"We'll have roasted whole lamb tonight." Lin Ziyan ruffled their hair, her heart overflowing with warmth.

Unbeknownst to the two, Aslan ran back to his room, made a phone call, and then went to the kitchen.

The boundless night pressed down, and stars filled the night sky.

The sky was filled with stars, as if all the stars had crowded into this night sky.

Lin Ziyan laid out mats on the lawn and gave them mosquito repellent before letting them lie on the mats and count the stars.

Abudu's wife and children are all busy.

Hot wine, roasted meat, and a campfire.

The firewood crackled and popped as it burned, the smoke swirling around it.

The wind howled from all directions.

Lin Ziyan wrapped a scarf around her neck and covered her head as well.

A few strands of her long hair fell down, obscuring her view.

Lu Yun Shen helped her tidy up, his eyes gentle.

Aslan picked up the bowl, drank and ate heartily, but the scene before her eyes plunged her into despair.

"I told you long ago, Yun Shen has never had any feelings for you. After today, there won't even be any friendship left," Abudu said, trying to comfort her when he saw her expression was off.

So many years have passed, from my teens to almost thirty now.

He never knew Aslan's obsession could run so deep.

If Lu Yunshen's previous work hadn't been kept secret, Aslan might have gone to find him alone long ago.
