Time flies.
University final exams are approaching, and graduation season is also here.
The graduation exams at Fukushi Ocean University were held as scheduled.
At this moment, in the principal's office,
Principal Chen received the reply from Beijing Municipality confirming the approval of his application. He sat there stunned for a long time, staring at it.
When Professor Shen submitted his application, he assumed it would not be approved, so he didn't take it seriously.
"Professor Shen, is this really going to work?"
"That student who took a leave of absence, who only attended university for a little over a semester, can he really pass the graduation exam?" Principal Chen asked suspiciously.
Shen Hai snatched the reply letter from his hand. With this, Lin Ziyan could pass the exam and obtain her graduation certificate.
However, her exam was monitored separately by a few teachers sent from Beijing.
The exam papers for this graduation test were set by teachers from Beijing.
Even Chen Hai didn't know the exam questions.
“Principal Chen, if she doesn’t pass the exam, we don’t need to issue her a graduation certificate.”
"The higher-ups have all agreed, what are you afraid of?" Shen Hai said, then turned and walked out of the principal's office.
…
On the day of the graduation exam.
Lin Ziyan sat in a separate classroom, with three teachers proctoring the exam.
When the test papers were handed out, she glanced at them and thought to herself, "So easy?"
Then she thought of her graduation thesis that she had just submitted, and her lips twitched.
Lin Ziyan suspected that Professor Shen had tricked her into taking the graduation exam in order to get her to write a thesis on shrimp farming.
After reviewing the exam papers, she still had to go to another classroom for her thesis defense.
Due to time constraints, the exam is a comprehensive paper, and the exam duration is 3 hours.
Lin Ziyan finished the test paper in just one and a half hours.
She then handed in her paper without paying any attention to the shocked looks of the three proctors.
She walked out of the restricted area of the teaching building.
"Why are you out so early? Don't you know how to do it?" Principal Chen asked as soon as he saw her.
Lin Ziyan: "It's done."
She silently added to herself, "Too easy, I did it at the slowest speed possible..."
Principal Chen thought to himself, "They probably really don't know how to do it."
Regardless of the grade on the written exam, the thesis defense is still essential.
Lin Ziyan was unaware of Principal Chen's thoughts; she had already headed towards another teaching building.
The classroom for the thesis defense was on the fifth floor of that teaching building.
When she appeared in the classroom for her thesis defense, Shen Hai glanced at the time, raised an eyebrow slightly, and didn't seem particularly surprised.
But the other teachers waiting in the classroom had different expressions.
Until the entire defense ended, all the teachers except Shen Hai were stunned and couldn't come to their senses.
"Professor Shen, did this student really only attend university for one year?"
Chen Hai, "to be precise, only attended one semester."
"This is more than just a paper,"
One of the teachers asked in confusion, "What is that?"
"This is a summary report of the practical experience and successful shrimp farming. Every piece of data on it has stood the test of practice." Shen Hai smiled meaningfully. He was going to submit the paper to an international competition.
The other teachers exchanged surprised glances.
Before leaving the school, Lin Ziyan ran into Wei Caixia, who had just come out of the cafeteria to get her food.
She simply nodded and left.
"Caixia, is that Lin Ziyan? Why is she coming out of this school building?"
A classmate ran over and asked suspiciously.
Wei Caixia pursed her lips and shook her head. Today was the graduation exam, and this was where the thesis defense was being held.
She watched Lin Ziyan's retreating figure, lost in thought.
…
On the other side, Huo Qizhen was busy counting the ingredients.
He recently visited Guangzhou, where development is much faster than in Fuzhou.
Moreover, there are now large supermarkets where many products can be wholesaled.
"Boss, you've only been back for a few days, why are you going out again?" the purchasing manager asked.
He knew that his boss had worked in Hong Kong before, but that was several years ago.
Although Guangzhou is close to Hong Kong, it is now impossible to cross the border from Guangzhou to Hong Kong.
"Take a closer look."
"Old Zhang, big changes are coming soon, we need to keep up with the trends." Huo Qizhen patted him on the shoulder.
He had worked hard to poach this purchasing manager from elsewhere, but he was also very generous with his advice.
Old Zhang paused for a moment, then smiled and said, "Boss, you seem to be in a much better mood since you came back from your trip to Guangzhou."
Huo Qizhen finished counting the ingredients and didn't say anything.
He hired professionals to manage the restaurants in the county and city, so he didn't need to worry about them much.
The reason Huo Qizhen went to Haibi Village to order shrimp was because they were all too busy, so he had to go in person.
Moreover, before leaving, Lin Shaowen specifically asked him to keep an eye on Lin Ziyan.
Huo Qizhen readily agreed, so he would occasionally visit the village to keep his promise.
He naturally enjoyed interacting with Lin Ziyan.
Having been in business for a long time, it wasn't easy for Huo Qizhen to find a business partner he clicked with.
"Boss Huo."
As soon as Lin Ziyan entered the restaurant, she saw Huo Qizhen looking at the shrimp ponds.
The chubby girl walked into the restaurant and glanced around, then thought in alarm, "How come this scene is just like the one I saw in the movie?"
But she wasn't too uncomfortable and adapted quickly.
"Why are you in the city?" Huo Qi asked, surprised and delighted.
He was just thinking about whether or not to go and take a look at Haibi Village.
Unexpectedly, Lin Ziyan appeared at the restaurant entrance the next second.
"She's here to take the exam," the chubby girl said casually. Having dealt with Boss Huo for a long time, she wasn't afraid of him anymore.
Huo Qizhen hurriedly invited them inside to sit down.
