Chapter 74 Drawing All Night

"Ayan, why do I feel like you've seen the future unfold?"

Lu Qiuying stared intently at her.

From the certainty in Ayan's tone, one could tell that she wasn't just building, but that the future was exactly like that.

Lin Ziyan's eyes flickered slightly. "I am confident in the future."

She could only make up a random excuse, after all, Lu Qiuying was a very perceptive person, and saying too much would arouse suspicion.

Lin Ziyan could only draw a rough sketch; as for how to build it, that would have to be up to Lu Qiuying.

Lu Qiuying had some doubts, but she didn't ask any more questions because she was already attracted by her picture.

Around 10 o'clock, Grandma Lan knocked on the door to urge them to go to sleep, and the two of them stopped writing.

Lin Ziyan put away her pencil case and left the study.

"Yun Shen, take A Yan back," Grandma Lan instructed as she saw her grandson return.

After she finished speaking, she went back, fanning herself with a palm-leaf fan.

Lin Ziyan, "..."

Lu Yunshen, "..."

The cicadas chirped incessantly.

"Xiao Shenzi, take Ayan home, I'm going to sleep now..." Lu Qiuying added.

Lin Ziyan blinked, trying hard to hold back her laughter.

Why did she feel that this form of address was a little strange?

Lu Yunshen said, "Let's go."

Lin Ziyan did not refuse, but followed behind him.

I haven't had a chance to thank him since he saved me last time.

She pursed her lips, looked down at the road, and was thinking about how to repay him.

Soon, a faint tobacco scent mixed with a cool aroma wafted over.

Lin Ziyan's head bumped right into his chest, and she looked up...

Her pupils contracted slightly; the intense gaze from so close made her gasp for breath.

With sword-like eyebrows, thin lips, a high and straight nose, and slightly upturned eyes with a small, barely visible black mole, he possessed a heroic air tinged with a hint of wickedness. His long eyelashes were slightly lowered, exuding an aura of authority and captivating charm.

His skin wasn't milky white, but a light honey color, exuding a strong masculine aura.

"Watch where you're going," Lu Yun Shen said casually, a slight smile playing on his lips.

Lin Ziyan: "Mmm."

She hurriedly walked past him, trying to hide her flustered state.

I silently repeated to myself several times: Form is emptiness...

Lu Yun Shen walked behind her, keeping a distance of one meter, neither too close nor too far.

The journey only took a few minutes, but he wished it could be longer.

Under the moonlight, the girl walking ahead had a slender, straight back, a casually tied ponytail, and a long, fair neck...

"I've arrived. Thank you..." Lin Ziyan turned to look at him.

The intense gaze she had just received made her back stiffen slightly.

"Hmm." Lu Yun Shen raised his chin slightly, showing no intention of leaving immediately.

Lin Ziyan nodded slightly, walked quickly inside, and then leaned against the door. Why was her heart racing?

She prided herself on having strong self-control, and in the past, in classes with more boys than girls, there were quite a few handsome boys.

Lin Ziyan didn't remember any of them, spending all her time in the library and laboratory.

"Maybe I've been too idle lately?" Lin Ziyan thought to herself as she quickly walked into the room.

She took out her drawing paper, straightened it out, and couldn't resist starting to draw again.

The warm yellow light shone on her, casting her shadow on the wall.

The courtyard was quiet, bathed in the cool moonlight.

Lin Ziyan seemed oblivious to her drowsiness, placing the completed drawings beside her and continuing…

She was only momentarily dazed when she heard the rooster crow, and rubbed her dry eyes.

By the time Lin Ziyan finished drawing all the pictures, the sky outside was already beginning to lighten.

She yawned, lay down on the bed, and fell asleep.

On the other side

After returning home, Lu Yunshen did not sleep all night.

He was writing an application that had been put on hold for a long time.

He was removed from the military almost half a year ago, but his military status has actually been retained and has not been completely erased.

Lu Yunshen and Yang Yanzhou came here to start a freight company, but he didn't actually intend to stay here forever.

During this period, he used his previous network of connections to find evidence and submitted it to the investigation department.

There are some things he cannot do, or even touch, because of his status.

Moreover, if he doesn't leave the team, the women who marry him in the future will have to endure the same kind of separation as his mother.

A dark light flashed in Lu Yunshen's eyes. He didn't want her to have anyone to rely on.

He put the application into the envelope, and a sense of relief washed over him.

Even though he knew how furious his grandfather and father would be upon seeing the application.

But once Lu Yun Shen has made up his mind, he will not change it for anyone else.

the next day,

Lu Qiuying entered the Lin family home but did not see Lin Ziyan.

"Shh! Keep it down, your older sister stayed up late last night," Xiaoxiao, the second sister, said to Jiaojiao.

Jiaojiao covered her mouth with her little hand, opened her eyes wide, and nodded.

The two were sitting at a stone table; one was doing homework, and the other was drawing.

“Sister Ying…” Jiaojiao looked up and saw Lu Qiuying walking in, and smiled sweetly.

Then she covered her mouth and turned to look at the room.

Xiaoxiao, "My sister hasn't gotten up yet..."

She looked at Lu Qiuying with some hesitation, her lips slightly pursed.

"It's okay, I'll wait for her here." Lu Qiuying rubbed Jiaojiao's head and rested her chin on her hand as she watched her draw.

She felt that the Lin family was really special. At a time when even having enough to eat was a problem, the Lin family had flowers in their yard, fish in their yard, and children even had crayons to draw with.

When Lu Qiuying visited her aunt's home abroad and saw their comfortable and convenient life, she had only one thought: she hoped that she could live that kind of life in China as well.

"Jiaojiao, what are you drawing? It's so unique." Lu Qiuying watched her put pen to paper, and every stroke was unexpected.

"Uh... my older sister taught me."

Jiaojiao was drawing carefully.

Lu Qiuying looked closer and discovered that there was an outline drawn with a pencil.

Jiaojiao simply painted colors on it.

Even the colors are labeled with numbers...

She had never seen a similar sketchbook or a drawing style like this before.

"Sister Qiuying,"

Lu Qiuying was still thinking when she heard Lin Ziyan's voice and looked up.

She wore a white round-neck top, her shoulders and neck were straight, her jet-black hair was casually loose, and her eyes were still sleepy, clearly she had just gotten up.

With her red lips, white teeth, and languid, bewildered look, Lu Qiuying was stunned for a few seconds.

"I've come to you to draw the next part of the picture."

"Wait a moment." Lin Ziyan's eyes were clear as she turned and went into the inner room to get the blueprints.

Lu Qiuying followed, and seeing the drawings in her hand, asked suspiciously, "Did you stay up all night drawing these?"

She flipped through a few pages, and her heart began to race.

These images are very complete...

Lu Qiuying originally only wanted to draw an outline, and then hand it over to the design institute to produce the final drawings.

"I'll go wash up first." Lin Ziyan walked into the room next door.

Lu Qiuying watched her departing figure, lost in thought.

This is comparable to a professional designer's drawing. Has he really never seriously studied design?

She felt that Lin Ziyan was like an unsolvable mystery…

Lu Qiuying looked down at the blueprints again, thinking to herself that if they were to use these blueprints, the department would have to pay Ayan a design fee.

Moreover, she had a feeling that Mr. Lin would be particularly satisfied with this drawing...
